No.310 07.09.2006 PRESS RELEASE The Tamil Nadu State Hajj Committee has proposed to conduct orientation/training programme in various centres in the State, for the benefit of the Hajj pilgrims from Tamil Nadu proceeding for Hajj 2006-II and explain to them about religious rites and rituals, travel formalities, rules and regulations and other procedures in Saudi Arabia and arrangements made by Haj Committee of India/Consulate General of India, Jeddah, etc. These programmes are conducted with the assistance of local voluntary organisations. 2. The orientation programme will be conducted as shown below:- Sl. The Hajj pilgrims proceeding on International Passports through private tour operators may also attend the programme. 3 4. The Hajj Committee will be deputing specially trained persons to conduct the orientation programme. Alims from the respective area will also talk about rules/codes for performing Hajj. 5.
