Well To Do (300cp): You come from nobility and prestige; a human will come from a wealthy family, a shinigami will come from a noble family, hollows will have a greater control over other hollows, quincies will be pure blooded, and togabito will be viewed as the top dog to the other togabito. Prodigy (500cp): (Cap Boost) You have joined the likes of Toshiro Hitsugaya the youngest captain in soul reaper society, Gin Ichimaru who graduated from the soul reaper academy in just one year and gained a seated position in the 5th division shortly after graduation, and Kaien Shiba who passed the soul reaper academy’s entrance exam the first time with high marks and graduated in two years. You are an exceptionally skilled individual of your race. Fullbringer (600cp): A spiritually aware human whose parent survived a hollow attack before their birth resulting in some of the hollows power being transferred to them and granting them the power Fullbring that allows them to manipulate the souls contained within matter. Bount (600cp): Spiritually aware beings that were accidentally created when an experiment to gain eternal life resulted in artificial shinigami souls combining with human souls that were then reborn into the human world. The experiment for eternal life didn’t completely fail as bounts have the ability to absorb and consume souls allowing them to extend their lives. - [Prodigy For Both Fullbringer & Bount] Adaptability: Your body/soul/existence is incredibly good at assimilating new racial abilities. Ensuring that you never become a mule situation, and that you only get the good sides from being a hybrid. Shinigami/Zanpakuto Spirit: Zan, Ken, So, Ki (100cp): Basic Shinigami training: Zan is based around sword fighting techniques (Zanjutsu), Ken is based on unarmed fighting techniques (Hakudo), So is based on movement based techniques (Hohō), Ki refers to Kido (Hadō & Bakudō). Shunko (200cp): An advanced technique combining Hakudo and Kido. By channeling Kido into your arms and legs resulting in the body being surrounded by an aura of energy that takes the form of and element. Your version isn’t yet perfected and those is highly unstable however you have the building blocks and should you train and practice you may learn new techniques and uses never before seen. (The canon elements shown are wind and lightning but should you wish you can have it appear as a different element) Bankai (400cp): The final release of a Zanpakuto it symbolizes a great understanding and connection between shinigami and zanpakuto allowing the zanpakuto to materialize outside their shinigami’s inner world in form better suited for their purpose be it defense or offense you have unlocked your bankai gaining a boost to your combat training and as an added bonus any item you wield will feel almost like an extension of yourself allowing you to use them to their greatest potential.

The Pathfinder Adventure Card Game has a simple mechanic for lycanthropes (werewolves and Adventure Path such): if there’s a Blessing of the Gods atop Return to the pirate’s life as the legendary Bloodlust Corsairs! the blessings discard pile, the moon is right Old salts tell of a crew of bold privateers whose reckless greed for them to assume animal form and become earned them a dire curse—the curse of lycanthropy! much more murderous. • Japanese Manga and Its Buds Lynne, Miyaki Final Project Bleach
Priest 1 Alexander Priest May 2013 Jpnt 179 Graphically Speaking: Japanese Manga and Its Buds Lynne, Miyaki Final Project Bleach ‘Live Action’ Screenplay This is a satirical screenplay of the manga series created by Tite Kubo. Priest 2 Introduction: There haven’t been many American ‘live action’ movie adaptations of manga. There was a brief period, where movies Speed Racer (2008), Astro Boy (2009), and Dragonball Evolution (2009) debuted and theatres, but they would receive negative or mixed reception. To commemorate these movies, I have drafted an intentionally horrible screenplay for my imaginary movie, Bleach: Soul Reaper ™. Unfortunately, I was not able to create that would actually span an entire movie. A myriad of difficulties and challenges embodies the difficulties that come with creating these adaptations in the first place. Firstly, I have had a lack of experience in screenplay writing. My second struggle came with adapting the much-loved Bleach and trying to corrupt it for the sake of satire. Maintaining a coherent storyline is difficult when you are also trying tamper with existing plots and storylines. Adaptations will always contradict the source material, it is inevitable, but much effort goes in deciding what should and shouldn’t be changed. Successfully fulfilling the notion of a “terrible adaptation” proves more challenging than initially expected. Thirdly, I didn’t know how to keep the screenplay informative without inserting footnotes to provide context and justification. The purpose of this project is to reveal common mistakes and disastrous trends within American interpretations of Japanese source materials, so I created a portion of a live-action screenplay that embodies this.

  • Yōkai – Japońskie Duchy Liminalne
Studia Religiologica 48 (1) 2015, s. 71–81 doi:10.4467/20844077SR.15.005.3134 www.ejournals.eu/Studia-Religiologica Yōkai – japońskie duchy liminalne Michał Spurgiasz Instytut Religioznawstwa Uniwersytet Jagielloński Abstract Yōkai – Japan Liminal Spirits The goal of this paper is to introduce Japanese demonology. The paper focuses on the spirits known as yōkai, providing answers from the incredibly scarce publications in Polish covering issues rela- ted to Japanese demonology. The article examines the origin of the term yōkai and thedifferences in meaning between yōkai, mononoke and ayakashi. It goes on to explain the difference between yōkai and kami, as well as introducing a categorisation of spirits to explain how new yōkai are generated. Keywords: yōkai, Japanese folklore Słowa klucze: yōkai, demonologia japońska Niniejszy tekst stanowi wprowadzenie do tematyki związanej z japońską klasą du- chów pośrednich znanych jako yōkai1. Wykorzystuję termin „duchy liminalne”, ponieważ pojawia się on w ważnej mono- grafii The Book of Yōkai, której autorem jest badacz japońskiego folkloru Michael Dylan Foster. Opisuje on yōkai w następujący sposób: 1 Niektóre kwestie zostały jedynie zaznaczone. Na przykład problem kultu yōkai i wyjątki z nim powiązane. 2 Zarówno w sposób tradycyjny, oparty na metodach znanych już przed laty, jak i przy uwzględnie- niu nowoczesnych technologii.
