sweets--Spanish chocolate, Arabian coffee, Chinese tea, Russian

candy canes, Ginger cookies, Danish flutes--and the night

concludes with a flowery waltz. The Nutcracker premiered as a two-act ballet in St. Petersburg,

Our Deepest Gratitude to: Open to ballet students levels 3, 4, and 5, Bethany Ballet is Portland Dance Center's resident ballet company. Featuring two productions each season, our company preserves classical ballet's Kelly & Ryan Blaquiere finest repertoire and acquaints new generations with its rich Brook Trtek history. Bethany Ballet provides an immersive, pre-professional Bethany Small environment with additional weekly technique class, rehearsals, performance tutorials, and stage appearances. By invitation, Claire & Carter Dye company dancers graduate from apprenticeship to the corps de Alpenrose Dairy ballet and enjoy opportunities for divertissement, solo, and principle roles. Participation in Bethany Ballet requires enrollment in at least two weekly ballet technique classes and exemplary Sincere Thanks to PDC Ballet Faculty: attendance for all ballet commitments.
