Entrance Music Up On The Roof by Robson and Jerome

Introduction Reading I am I, and you are you: whatever we were to each other, that we still are. Call me by my old familiar name, speak to me in the easy way which you always used. Put no difference into your tone, wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow. Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together. Play, smile, think of me, pray for me. Let my name be forever the same as it always was. Let it be spoken without effort, without the ghost of a shadow on it. Life means all that it ever meant... It is the same as it always was; there is absolute unbroken continuity. I am but waiting for you, for an interval, just around the corner... All is well.

Tributes to Barb ‘My Mum’ from Clare

Beautiful, brave, strong, caring and a fighter. She wasn’t just my mum she was my best friend and I could tell her anything. The best mum in the world. As I was writing this I could hear her in my head saying don’t stress yourself out, I don’t want any fuss. So I thought I would just leave it there and just wanted to say that I love you millions mum. A WhereReflection My Heart Willof TakeMemories Me Russell Watson

from Poemsister, Jackie Dear Barb

I am lucky to call you Sister but you also were my friend, we shared our joys, we shared our woes, we laughed together, we cried together and we argued sometimes too. Stood shoulder to shoulder through thick and thin, but loved each other really, forgave an awful lot, and now it’s time to be apart, which is hard for me to bear, but know you’ll be with me forever, always in my heart. Life has to end but love doesn’t. Love you more, Jackie xxx Farewell Barbara We commend your free spirit to live on in the hearts of everyone you touched along the way.

“So farewell, my friends, shed no tears, I need them not, All I need is your smile. Think of me, for when you live in the hearts of those you love, then, you never die.”

“So come in the shade of evening When the sun paints the sky in the west, Stand for a few moments and think of me And remember only my best.”
