Description Studio One was originally an intriguing architect designed property dating back to 1967. The previous house was almost entirely demolished and replaced by the current house which was built by the current owner for his own occupation in 2017. Constructed of larch clad masonry cavity walls under a natural slate roof the design displays many features which are typical of the high end properties designed by the renowned local architect Toni Moses who is known for her cutting edge Scandinavian inspired designs which feature clean lines and practical use of space and lots of cleverly integrated storage.

The entrance hall has a full wall of built-in storage cupboards lit by an obscured glass window to the front. There is a built-in desk/study area adjacent to the stairs, a cloakroom and utility room. The ground floor features limed oak parquet flooring throughout and a superb open plan kitchen/breakfast room with Tomas handle-less painted cabinetry beneath Corian work surfaces and a number of integrated appliances. Both the kitchen/breakfast room and the sitting room have wide sliding powder coated aluminium doors which open out on to a deep paved terrace.

The sitting room also features a free-standing wood burning stove and is entered through a full height “concealed” door which folds back into a pocket. The second reception room has built-in shelving and is currently used as a playroom.

At first floor level there is a top lit landing with built-in storage/airing cupboard and a practical laundry room. The master bedroom is vaulted, has wide sliding doors to a full width balcony and views across to pasture land on the opposite side of the road. A double bank of built-in dressing room cupboards lead through to an en suite shower room with feature “pebble” flooring. The three remaining bedrooms are all well proportioned doubles, one with a vaulted ceiling and “Juliet” balcony which shares a “Jack and Jill” shower room with the next bedroom. The fourth bedroom has built-in wardrobes and there is a family bathroom with deep tub, cast concrete surround and separate shower with Duravit sanitaryware.

To the front there is a large shingled area with parking space for numerous cars. There is a large storage shed concealed down the left hand side and to the right an overhang provides space for log storage. The rear garden is laid mainly to lawn and features a deep paved terrace all along the rear elevation, an enclosed “play” area raised deck with pergola and planters surrounding together with a sunken trampoline. A mature tree in one corner provides shade in the summer.
