Today the Cinematheque is North Africa’s the artists, foremost cinema cultural center. Beyond presenting some 1000 films contem- porary and classic films, from more than 30 countries, the Cinémathèque de the contributors, Tanger workshops and master classes attract local audiences, including chil- dren, women’s groups, student filmmakers, and non-profits. The film archive, Maja Hoffmann, Pierre Bergé, Anne Igou, built around documentaries and artist videos, is another dimension of the Cinémathèque de Tanger’s mission: to bring the people of Tangier back to the François Hébel,Bernard Utudjian and Galerie Polaris, movies.
