GRANGER SMITH AND RODNEY ATKINS TO HEADLINE NEW YEAR’S WEEKEND AT MYSTIC LAKE

PRIOR LAKE – NOVEMBER 9, 2018 – Country hitmakers Granger Smith and Rodney Atkins are coming to the Mystic Showroom® for a New Year’s weekend performance on Sunday, December 30, at 8 p.m.
Granger Smith, a rapidly-rising country star who has garnered a massive following known as “Yee Yee Nation,” will open the show. Smith rose to prominence with the No. 1 smash “Backroad Song.” His recently-released full-length album When The Good Guys Win produced the Top 15 hit “Happens Like That” and his current fast-rising single “You’re In It.”
With six No. 1 hits under his belt, four studio LPs, and more than 10 million units sold, Atkins is more invested than ever in making honest, authentic records that tell a story. The Tennessee- born singer and songwriter is known for his chart-topping tracks “Take A Back Road,” “It’s America,” “These Are My People,” and “Watching You.” The Mystic Showroom performance comes ahead of Atkins’ forthcoming fifth studio album, recorded primarily in his home studio in the hills of Nashville.
The concert is part of Mystic Lake’s New Year’s weekend festivities, including a concert by Third Eye Blind with special guest Step Rockets on New Year’s Eve, as well as free parties and special events throughout the casino. Full details will be announced in the coming weeks.
