Provided by the Partnership for Maternal and Child Health of Northern New Jersey Wednesday, June 17, 2020 10:00 am-12:00 pm (EST) Presenter: Kevin Sabet, PhD Dr. Sabet received his PhD in Social Policy from the University of Oxford. Dr. Sabet was senior policy advisor to the Director of the Office of National Drug Control Policy under the Clinton, Bush and Obama administrations. Currently he is an adjunct professor at Yale University and adjunct professor and Director of the Drug Policy Institute at the University of Florida, School of Medicine. He is the president of Policy Solutions Group consulting with governments and non-governmental organizations on drug policy issues; and president and CEO of SAM Inc. (Smart Approaches to Marijuana). Target Audience Nurses (perinatal), Advanced Practice Nurses, Certified Nurse Midwives, Social Workers and Mental Health Providers. Learning Outcome At the conclusion of the program, the participants will self-report knowledge gain related to effects of marijuana and implications of legalized marijuana and intent to change practice by including information or tools presented into professional practice. Successful Completion To receive contact hours for this continuing education program, the registrant must sign-in for the webinar, attend the entire presentation and complete and submit an on-line evaluation.
