District Attorney, Perry M. Nicosia, commented, “I’m pleased with the conviction and life sentence. It al- lows the family to move forward without having to relive this horrible crime at trial.” District Attorney Perry M. Nicosia commented after sentencing, “Our office will continue to work closely with the Sheriff’s Office to ensure violent criminals are brought to trial and convicted.” Nicosia applauds the work of the detectives and the prosecution team led by Michael Morales. Nicosia said, “in St. Bernard Parish his District Attorney’s Office and the St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office have a zero tolerance for violent crimes.
