Ans. The Neolithic man found it difficult to carry very heavy objects that he decided to put a log under the object to be used as a roller eventually they added runners which led to the creation of the sledge then they added rollers under the sledge first one and then another one to help hold the load when it moved off the first one soon they realised that the heavy load created grooves in the rollers which made it easier to move the load at a faster speed. The rollers were changed into wheels ,to simplify the process further the Neolithiic man made an axle by chopping of the wood between the grooves of the roller and fastened wooden pegs to the runners on each side of the axle . When the wheels turned the axle turned too thus moving the load as it moved forward . This is probably how the first wheel and the first wooden cart were made.
