Africa WHERE DREAMS TAKE ROOT. .. AND GROW. 3 ATHLETIC FACILITIES TENNIS FACILITIES SADLER COURTS Morehead State's Sadler Cou1ts are the home venue for the MSU tennis teams. T11ere are six lighted courts for competition and six additional lighted practice courts. Restroom faci li ties, as well as ample bleacher seating for fa ns. are also part of the Sadler Courts faci lity. WELLNESS CENTER INDOOR COURTS The MSU tennis teams also utilize the Wellness Center Indoor Courts for practices and matches. The center has three courts in excellent condition. WELLNESS CENTER TRAINING ROOM In addition to the indoor courts, the MSU tennis teams train In the Wellness Center, which was recently updatecl and expanded as part of MSU's athletic facilities master plan. 4 TENNIS MEDIA GUIDE 2009 www. msueagl es .c om COACHING STAFF Kevin Fu lton, a native of nearby Maysville, is in his fourth year as head men's and women's tennis coach at Morehead State. In his first three seasons, Fulton produced successful results with botl1 the men 's and women's teams and now has t11e full complement of student athletes to build a successful program at MSU. Fulton, who came to Morehead State after a two-year appointment as head men's coach at Indiana University Southeast, was a two time KIAC Coach of the Year and led U1e IU-Southeast men to an NAIA top 25 ranking in 2005. His team produced a 32-18 overall record while he was in charge after going just 6-9 in 2003. In addition, he coached six all conference players and two All-Americans in 2005. Fulton mentored Sabastian Aspillaga to tl1e ITA Midwest Region singles and doubles championships in 2004. In 2005, Indiana Southeast advanced to U1e six Junior college Al l-Americans and helped the finals of the Region 12 tournament after never school produce a 64-13 overall record . winning a single regional match in the history Before coming to Morehead, Fulton served as a of the school. Johnson was nationally and regionally ranked all four years at U of L, starting with a no. 90 ITA singles ranking as a freshman and moving all the way up to as high as 38th in the preseason singles rankings before l1is senior season. Johnson posted more than 70 singles victories In his career and compiled close to 100 doubles Johnson was also named as a Big EastAcademic victories. He, along with Slavko Radman, were All-Star following, his junior and senior seasons ranked as high as 26th in t11e ITA preseason and earned a spot on the Louisville Athletic doubles poll before his senior
