Village Roadshow Entertainment Group VILLAGE ROADSHOW ENTERTAINMENT GROUP BRUCE BERMAN REUPS AS CHAIRMAN AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER OF VILLAGE ROADSHOW PICTURES Berman Will Continue to Lead Village Roadshow’s Film Activities as Well as Collaborate with the Entire Development Team on Content for all Media Los Angeles, CA – February 19, 2019 – Village Roadshow Entertainment Group (VREG) CEO Steve Mosko announced today that Bruce Berman has entered into an agreement to continue as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Village Roadshow Pictures (VRP). Berman will retain oversight of VREG’s feature film activities and collaborate with the entire development group to create content for television, streaming and emerging platforms. Berman will report to Mosko, who is focused on increasing the production of content for all media and platforms; as a complement to VREG’s long-standing business of producing and co-financing feature films. “Bruce is a very important part of Village Roadshow’s past success and our plans for the future,” stated Mosko. “Bruce understands the business and has relationships within the creative community that will aid us in bridging the gap in creating content beyond feature film using our deep library as well as original IP.” “I have been fortunate to have had a long tenure at Village Roadshow and I am pleased it will continue into the company’s new phase of strategic growth into the production arena under Steve,” said Berman. I expect us to develop our own films and partner on others that will continue Village Roadshow’s decades of bringing quality and ground breaking films to audiences. I am also looking forward to tapping into my experience and relationships to generate content for media beyond feature film.” Currently, on behalf of VRP Berman is overseeing the company’s interests in the upcoming films at Warner Bros. including “Joker,” directed and co-written by Todd Phillips and starring Joaquin Phoenix and Robert De Niro; and “Sherlock Holmes 3,” starring Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law. Berman has served as VRP’s Chairman and CEO for more than two decades. Under the Village Roadshow Pictures banner, Berman executive produced recent hits including the “Ocean’s” franchise , Steven Spielberg’s “Ready Player One”; Clint Eastwood’s “Sully,” starring Tom Hanks; “American Sniper,” starring Bradley Cooper; George Miller’s “Mad Max: Fury Road,” starring Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron; “San Andreas,” starring Dwayne Johnson; and the original “LEGO® Movie,” directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller. Berman also executive produced the films in the “Matrix” franchise. Berman joined Warner Bros. Pictures in 1984 as Vice President of Production and was then was elevated in 1989 to President of Worldwide Production for the studio. He got his start in the motion picture business working with Jack Valenti at the MPAA while attending Georgetown Law School in Washington, DC. After earning his law degree, he landed a job at Casablanca Films in 1978 and worked his way up to a production Vice President at Universal Pictures in 1982. Berman served as a trustee of the California Institute of the Arts, Bennington College, and the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles. He is a founding member of the J. Paul Getty Museum’s Photographs Council.     20 April 2017 VILLAGE ROADSHOW ENTERTAINMENT GROUP RESTRUCTURE Village Roadshow Entertainment Group (VREG) today released the attached announcement of a transaction with Vine Alternative Investments and Falcon Investment Advisors. Following the transaction, Village Roadshow Limited’s (VRL’s) total interest in VREG comprises: • 20% of the ordinary equity in VREG; • An option over a further 2.5% of VREG’s equity; and • US$10 million of subordinated notes (ranking in priority to the ordinary equity of VREG), repayable by November 2022, with a non-cash return of 15.5% p.a. This represents a restructure of VRL’s entire existing interests in VREG, without additional funding from VRL, and there will be no impact on VRL’s accounts.
