Güner SEFEROĞLU 2012, 194 sayfa Bu çalışma, 2009-2011 yılları arasında Adnan Menderes Üniversitesi Ziraat Fakültesi Bahçe Bitkileri Bölümüne ait meyve koleksiyon bahçesi ve Aydın’a bağlı Dalama Beldesinde yürütülmüştür. Bazı geç çiçeklenen badem çeşitlerinin bu bölgelere adaptasyonu ve erken meyveye yatmaları amacıyla yapılan bu araştırmamızda, çöğür anaçları üzerine aşılı Texas, Nonpareil, Ferraduel, Ferragnes, Primorski ve Tuono çeşitleri kullanılmıştır. Çiçek tomurcuğunu teşvik etmek için boğma ve dal açma uygulamaları yapılmıştır. Fidanlarda fenolojik gözlemler ve gelişim performanslarını belirlemek üzere morfolojik gözlemler yapılmıştır. Ayrıca yaprak ve sürgünlerde biyokimyasal olarak klorofil, toplam şeker, toplam nişasta, toplam karbonhidrat ve amygdalin içerikleri belirlenmiştir. Bütün bu değerlendirmeler sonucunda fenolojik açıdan meyve kolleksiyon bahçesinde Texas ve Ferragnes, Dalama’da ise Texas, Ferragnes ve Tuono çeşitlerinin daha geç çiçeklendiği, morfolojik gelişmelere göre iki lokasyonda da Tuono çeşidinin, uygulama olarak da boğma ve dal açmanın kontrole göre daha iyi sonuçlar verdiği, klorofil miktar ve yoğunluğu değerlendirildiğinde; çeşit olarak Tuono çeşidinin öne çıktığı, dal açma ve boğma uygulamasının daha fazla dikkat çektiği görülmüştür. Toplam şeker ve nişasta miktarında ise Ferragnes, Ferraduel çeşitleri, uygulama olarak dal açma en yüksek değerlere sahip olmuştur. Amygdalin miktarı açısından her iki lokasyonda boğma, çeşit olarak; meyve kolleksiyon bahçesinde Primorski, Dalama lokasyonunda ise Ferraduel öne çıkmıştır. Tomurcuk sayımlarında boğma uygulaması ve çeşit olarak da Tuono daha büyük değerlere sahip olmuştur. Güner SEFEROĞLU 2012, 194 pages This research was carried out in fruit science collection orchards in Horiculture Department, Agriculture Faculty, Adnan Menderes University in Aydın province and almond parcels in Dalama country in Aydın province between 2009 and 2011 years. The aim of this research is adaptation of late flowering almond cvs. and promoting of their early fruiting. Texas, Nonpareil, Ferraduel, Ferragnes, Primorski ve Tuono cvs. which is grafted on seedlings were used. To promote flower bud formation, the applications of ringing (girdling effect) and making wider branch angle have been carried out. Phenological observations and developmental performances with morphological observations were made. In adddition that, chlorophyll, total sugar, total starch, total carbonhydrate and amygdalin contents as biochemical have been determined. As a result of all evaluations, in terms of fenologically, Texas and Ferranges cvs. in fruit collection orchards and Texas, Ferranges and Tuono cvs. in Dalama country were flowered lately. In terms of morphological developments, Tuono cv. for both location and ringing and makig wider branch angle applications gave better results when compared to control. When the amount of chlorophyll and its density were evaluated, Tuono cv. and ringing and wider branch angle applications became more noticeable. Ferraduel, Ferragnes cvs. and the plants made wider branch angle application had the highest total sugar and total starch. Ringing in both location, Primorski cv. in fruit collection orchards and Ferraduel cv. in Dalama country had the highest amygdalin contents. In terms of bud counting, ringing application and Tuono cv. had bigger values. Key words: Almond, ringing, branch angle, adaptation, flowering x xi ÖNSÖZ Badem, dünya üzerinde yetiştiriciliği yaygın olarak yapılabilen bir meyve türüdür. Ülkemizde de son yıllarda yetiştiriciliği giderek artmaya başlamıştır. Badem ilk çiçeklenen meyve türü olması nedeniyle ilkbahar donlarından daha fazla zarar görür. Bu nedenle son zamanlarda erkenci, orta mevsim çeşitler dışında özellikle geç çiçeklenen çeşitler tercih edilmeye başlanmıştır. Ayrıca bilindiği üzere meyve türlerinde bulunan gençlik kısırlığından dolayı bazı klon anaçları haricinde 4-5 yıl yeterince çiçek tomurcuğu oluşmamakta ve meyve alınamamaktadır. Bu sebeple çalışmamızda hem geç çiçeklenen çeşitlerle çalışılmış ve de çiçek tomurcuğu oluşumuna yönelik bazı uygulamalar yapılmıştır. Değişik toprak tiplerine uyum sağlayabilen ve ekonomik açıdan yüksek değere sahip olan bademin ülkemizdeki yetiştiriciliğinin artması, bilhassa modern kapama bahçelerin kurulması hedef haline gelmelidir. USA. Accepted 20 January, 2011 Wild almond species are important genetic resources for resistance to unsuitable condition, especially drought stress. They have been used traditionally as rootstocks in some areas of Iran. So far, 21 wild almond species and 7 inter species hybrids have been identified in Iran. To study seed germination and seedling establishment of some of these species, three separate experiments were designed. In the first experiment, the application of gibberellic acid (GA3) (0, 250, 500 and 750 ppm) for 24 h was studied on germination characteristics of four wild almond accessions after stratification at 5 ± 0.5°C in Perlite media. Germination percentage, index vigor and root initiation factors were different in almond accessions, but were not affected by hormonal treatments. In the second experiment, seeds of another six wild almond accessions were stratified to compare their germination ability. Germination percentage, index vigor and root initiation were different among accessions significantly.

India *Corresponding Author E-mail: [email protected] Received: 12.09.2018 | Revised: 9.10.2018 | Accepted: 16.10.2018 ABSTRACT The reniformis nematodes of the genus Rotylenchulus (Haplolaimidae: Nematoda) are sedentary semi-endoparasites of numerous crops. There are ten species out of which R. reniformis and R. parvus are important, and three species (R. amanictus, R. clavicadatus, R. leptus) are monophagous: two on monocots and one on Rosids. In general, Rotylenchulus species are capable of feeding from very primitive Magnoliids to plants of advanced category. Preference was distinctly observed towards the plants in Rosids (42.779%) followed by monocots (23.949%) and Asterids (21.755%). The SAI values were also higher for these groups of plants. The study on lineages further revealed intimate affinity to febids (25.594%), followed by commelinids (18.647%), malvids (16.088%), lamiids (11.883%), and campanulids (9.141%). Poales contribution within commelinids was 65.353%. Maximum affinity of Rotylenchulus species was observed by their association with plants from families Poaceae (7), followed by Fabaceae (6), Malvaceae (6), Asteraceae (4), Oleaceae (4), Soanaceae (4) and so on. The metabolites of interest were quantified by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), and the metabolome was analyzed using directed and nondirected approaches. Finally, using RNA-seq methodology, the first transcript collection for C. obtusifolia was generated. HPLC analysis detected CGA at all sampling points, while metabolomic analysis confirmed the identity of CGA and of precursors involved in its biosynthesis. Transcriptome analysis identified differentially expressed genes and enzymes involved in the biosynthetic pathway of CGA.

Flowers were kept in a freezer at −20 ◦C for three freezing times (Treatment 1, two months; Treatment 2, four months; Treatment 3, six months). After extracting pollen, in vitro germination was induced in a culture medium and incubated at six different temperatures for 72 h. The percentage of pollen germination, average pollen tube length and maximum pollen tube length were measured. Pollen germination was maximum for all species between 15 ◦C and 30 ◦C. Cydonia oblonga, Malus sylvestris, Prunus avium, Prunus domestica, Prunus dulcis, Prunus persica and Pyrus communis obtained 30–52% pollen germination between 15 ◦C and 20 ◦C. Prunus cerasifera had 40% pollen germination at 30 ◦C. All species studied reached the maximum pollen tube length between 10 ◦C and 25 ◦C. Germination did not change significantly for any of the species with freezing time, but we found significant differences in the three parameters measured between treatments. The highest germination percentages were obtained in Treatment 2 (four months frozen at −20 ◦C), while the maximum pollen tube length was reached in Treatment 1 (two months frozen at −20 ◦C).
