A second year in perspective… Our Partners When you have a vision, something bigger than yourself, and you find amazing people to join and share that vision with you and improve it on the way, you have success. That is what Hispanic Connections is, a group that was born from a vision of Hispanic businesses connecting to benefit from networking, apply synergies and offer mutual Insurance & Financial Services support to grow individually and collectively while giving back to our community. We connected with incredible leaders in the community that saw our potential, believed in each other and put their leadership to work to benefit not only our businesses but much more, a community in desperate need of a voice. We are creating a place for the Hispanic community to express itself and integrate with the rest of the population of McHenry County. Hispanic Connections is not only a networking group where business come to meet, integrate, and support each other, looking to grow via referrals but it has become a force and voice of a community that is eager to integrate and be heard. Hispanic Connections is truly a networking and service group.

We have created events like the annual Mexican Independence WOODSTOCK Day Celebration, Latino Parent Career Night together with District CHAMBER 200, Churros with Santa, Salsa Nights and legal night. We support of COMMERCE & INDUSTRY multicultural events in schools like the Westwood Elementary event where Culture, Arts and Music and Juanita Vega, engage with students and staff to teach Latin Music and Latin Dance, we are proud to show a town like Woodstock, how two cultures can work together, grow together and support each other with respect and leadership. This year we also sponsored the first Latina candidate for the annual Miss Woodstock Pageant and proudly today we have the FIRST LATINA Queen, Alondra Flores, representing us as Miss Woodstock 2018. Alondra represents the Hispanic Community with high honor and is integrating two cultures and showing not only our city and county but the whole country that we are all ONE awesome group of people.

The future is bright, Hispanic Connections is showing the community JOHN TOVAR of McHenry County ways of collaboration, integration and support. MARCO SNACHEZ It is showing businesses that networking has greater benefits when AMADO BARCENA the referrals come from their presence in the community and the ANDRES LOPEZ support that they give each other instead of a referral name on a piece of paper.
