2021 OASD Summer School Dates Parent Information - February 2021

The Oshkosh Area School District (OASD) is putting the final touches on an exciting summer school program for 2021. High School and Middle School summer sessions will be held at Oshkosh North High School. Elementary courses will be held at Jefferson, Oaklawn, and Carl Traeger schools. Busing will be available for elementary students only and at limited pickup/dropoff sites based on summer school location.

Course registration will be available online through Infinite Campus beginning March 1, 2021 and will be open through March 26, 2021. Detailed course information about all course options including special camps and registration instructions will be sent at a later date through email and your parent portal and will be available on the OASD Summer School Webpage. Please see the Guidance Counselor at your student’s high school to sign your student up for high school credit recovery courses.

High School students must attend every session of summer school when a class meets for credit from 8 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. The Department of Public Instruction (DPI) rules state that students must attend class for a minimum number of hours in addition to earning a passing grade in order to receive course credit. High School students are allowed to miss a maximum of one day of instruction to earn credit. (NOTE: EAA Airventure starts on July 26, 2021.)

Oshkosh Area School District Summer School 2021 (Parent Information - January 2021)

Elementary Summer School Instruction (grades 4K-5) Locations: Jefferson Elementary, Oaklawn Elementary, Carl Traeger Dates: June 14 - July 08 , Monday through Thursday Times: 8:30 - 10 a.m. and 10 - 11:30 a.m.

Middle School Summer Instruction (grades 6-8) Location: Oshkosh North High School Dates: June 14 - July 08, Monday through Thursday Times: 8:30 -10 a.m. and 10 - 11:30 a.m.

High School Summer Instruction (grades 9-12) Location: Oshkosh North High School Session 1: June 07 - June 25 ; 8 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Session 2: June 28 - July 16; 8 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

High School eAcademy June 07 to July 15; 8 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. (All students must report in-person the first day)

High School Marching Band Location: Oshkosh West High School Band Room Dates: August 09 - 20 Time: 5 p.m. - 8 p.m.

High School Jazz Ensemble Location: Oshkosh West High School Band Room Dates: June 07 - 18 Time: 9:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m.

Classroom Driver Education Location: Oshkosh West High School (will be held in West Room G-11) Session 1: June 7 - June 25; 10:15 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Session 2: June 28 - July 16; 10:15 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Fee: $115 should be paid by June 1 Age: Students must be born on or before August 31, 2006

Driver Education - Behind the Wheel (NOTE: Sign up with Mr. Morrison during Classroom, not on Infinite Campus.) Location: Oshkosh West High School (will be held at West Room G-11) Session 1: June 7 - June 30 (90-minute sessions starting at 7 a.m., 8:40 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 12:45 p.m.) Session 2: July 5 - July 28 (90-minute sessions starting at 7 a.m., 8:40 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 12:45 p.m.)

High School CATS (Champion Acceleration Training Program) Session 1 Location: Oshkosh West High School Weight Room Dates: June 07 - July 30 ● Monday - Thursday: 6 - 7:30 a.m. ● Friday: 8 - 9:30 a.m.

Session 2 Location: Oshkosh West High School Weight Room Dates: June 07 - July 30 ● Monday - Thursday: 7 - 8:30 a.m. ● Friday: 8 - 9:30 a.m.
