FRANCE v ENGLAND at Stade de France, 1.2.2014 (18:00) Head coach Philippe Saint-Andre hands a test debut to 22 year old fly-half Jules Plisson, whilst four others – Alexandre Flanquart, Bernard le Roux, Jean-Marc Doussain and Brice Dulin all make their RBS 6 Nations debuts. In addition uncapped Antoine Burban is on the bench. Plisson and Doussain become only the 4th half-back pairing to make their RBS 6 Nations debuts in the same game (excepting 2000) – the other three such combinations all being Italian. Skipper Pascal Pape leads France for the 9th time and plays in his 50th test. The XV has 354 test caps between them; the bench has a further 133 caps.
