The Town of Arlington’s Department of Planning and Community Development (DPCD) requests $50,000.00 from the Community Preservation Act Committee for the Whittemore Park Revitalization Project. The total project cost is $65,000; the balance of the project will be paid for by the Urban Renewal Fund, a fund managed by the Arlington Redevelopment Board. Whittemore Park is managed by the Arlington Redevelopment Board. The funding requested would enable a robust planning process for the park which will eventually lead to improvements to the park. 1.
