This was okay. Kind of hard to keep up with the story. I wasn't that keen on the artwork. It looks too cartoonish for me. Also, this is Wolverine: Three Months to Die Book 1 of those books that you Wolverine: Three Months to Die Book 1 lost if you haven't followed the series closely. Wolverine: Three Months to Die Book 1 wish I had been able to write my review sooner, because I've forgotten aspects of the story. Feb 20, sixthreezy rated it it was ok Shelves: marvelx-menmarvel-now. It's incredible how bad these Wolverine books by Paul Cornell are. Aug 05, Aaron rated it it was ok. This volume continues Wolverine's slow and uneven crawl towards the Death of Wolverine storyline, and doesn't particularly add much to the saga. Last we saw Logan, he was Wolverine: Three Months to Die Book 1 and utterly defeated by Sabretooth, who didn't even give Logan the satisfaction of death. Logan's response appeared to be hopelessness and fear, but in reality he was just faking so he could go undercover and fight Sabretooth again! So, the whole emotional pay off of Sabretooth defeating him wasn't real, either! I keep fi This volume continues Wolverine's slow and uneven crawl towards the Death of Wolverine storyline, and doesn't particularly add much to the saga. I keep finding things to like about Cornell's run on Wolverine, but I feel like every time he serves up something I love, he instantly undercuts Wolverine: Three Months to Die Book 1 in the next issue in the interest of creating a new plotline. There's almost no time spent with Wolverine dealing with his defeat.

The plot is paper Despite the "Book One" on the cover, and the fact that this collects issues of yet another Wolverine reboot, this is a terrible place to start reding a story. Paul Cornell is a British writer of science fiction and fantasy prose, comics and television. And what happens when they find the man with some answers: Sabretooth?! Ooof, it's bad. Reed Comics Ltd is a limited company registered in England and Wales. One of the better Logan stories I have read in a while. Not bad, thought a bit angst-y and super-hero-y which, contrary to a cover blurb I thought was what Wolverine used to be. There are no discussion topics on this book yet. I don't like the choice of subtitle for this series.

Origin stories for superheroes and supervillains frequently appear in the plots of comic books long after the characters were created and with the shift in the stable of artists involved, different and sometimes competing events in the characters' biographies are revealed. This is particularly true of series that have enjoyed long periods of popularity or those that were phased out and then later revived. The stimulus for this m1icle was the origin story conceived for the X-Men supervillain Magneto under Chris Claremont's plotting, after the series was resurrected in 197 5 and by the foregrounding of Magneto's Holocaust past in the opening sequence to Bryan Singer's 2000 filmX-Men.

But, the brutal moment shows how Wolverine exhausted all of his options in dealing with Sabretooth and decided the best way to stop him was to kill him.
