Newsletter No. 24 Term 3 Week 5 21st August 2019

Deputy Principal’s Corner - te iwi tahi tatou – we are one family…

Dear Parents/Guardians

As teachers we are endeavouring to instill in our students a love of learning even if it sometimes means we struggle in the learning pit when things get confusing or challenging. We want them to be life-long learners.

Teachers too, are life-long learners. This year all teachers at CPS have been inquiring into their own practice so that we can continue to motivate, engage and respond to all our students. Teachers have been challenged to scan, focus, develop hunches, research and take action to enhance or change their practice for even better outcomes for our students. Sometimes we too have been in the learning pit but we have shown resilience and persevered through the collaborative support of our colleagues. We enjoy learning new things and always strive to be the best teachers we can be.

Regards Maree Goodall Deputy Principal
