Last season Cal didn’t win its second conference game until January 29, nine games into conference play, and did not earn its 14th win overall until March 3, 30 games into the season • The Bears improve to 4-1 in road games this season. Last year Cal went 2-9 on the road, including 0-9 in conference road games • Cal was held to 25 points in the first half, the fewest points the Bears have scored in any half all season • The Bears held Colorado to just 19 points in the second half, tied for the fewest points Cal has allowed in any half all season • Cal opened the third quarter on a 17-0 run and held Colorado without a field goal for the first 6:25 of the period • The Bears outscored Colorado 24-12 in the third quarter after scoring just 25 points in the entire first half • This is the first time all season the Bears have won a game when scoring fewer than 70 points.
