Letter from the editor- The end of the school year means one thing: Lists. Yes. we know, you were inundat- ed by every list imaginable when that whole millennium thing came around, but here at the Falcon Sports Extra we decided to pick and choose our spots, instead of jumping on the list bandwagon, we figured that we'd wait until the hype passed and then come out with our own lists. So here they are. our top five of everything we could think of that has to do with Bow-ling Green athletics. On the cover is everyone's favorite power forward Anthony Staccy. who we've named the male athlete of the year We've named Gymnast Marny Ocstrcng the female athlete of the year and Men's Basketball's Len Matcla the most improved player of this school year. If you wanna know the rest read on. We'd just like to thank everyone who read our stuff this year. Whether you love it or hate it. we write it for you. We'd also like to (hank Mike Lehmkuhle and Ben French for all his work with the photos in this issue. We'll see you next fall with the Falcon Sports Extra Football preview. *wVt Sincerely TOP Game—The students of Bowling Green celebrate with their -Dan Nied- Edilor football team after the Falcons knocked off Toledo Oct. 2, 1999.
