‘LOVE IN WINTERLAND’ Cast Bios
ITALIA RICCI (Alice) – Best known for her starring role as April Carver in ABC Family’s “Chasing Life,” Italia Ricci most recently starred opposite Kiefer Sutherland as Emily Rhodes in the critically acclaimed Netflix series “Designated Survivor” and this summer’s Hallmark Channel original movie “Rome in Love.” Ricci has also guest-starred as the Silver Banshee in episodes of “Supergirl” and her work in feature films includes roles in actor/director Joseph Gordon Levitt’s Don Jon and the independent feature The Remaining.

CHAD MICHAEL MURRAY (Brett) – Chad Michael Murray first rose to prominence with fan- favorite roles on The WB dramas “Dawson's Creek” and “Gilmore Girls.” He became a household name with his leading role as Lucas Scott in The WB’s hit “One Tree Hill” from 2003- 2012, during which he won three Teen Choice Awards. He showcased his talents as a leading actor, playing the outcast-turned-cool-kid throughout his near-decade run. He took position behind the camera as well, both writing and directing an episode of the series.
Murray can most recently be seen as Edgar Evernever in the fourth season of The CW hit “Riverdale.” His character was introduced in season three as the enigmatic leader of a cult-like Farm, attempting to spread his teachings and heal the ravaged soul of the once wholesome town of Riverdale.
This year, Murray portrayed Atticus Virtue in the family sci-fi thriller Max Winslow and the House of Secrets, which told the story of five teenagers who competed to win a mansion owned by entrepreneur and scientist, Virtue. In 2020, he will co-star in the action film The Long Night alongside Bruce Willis and Lydia Hull. He also recently starred in the Hallmark Channel original holiday movie “Write Before Christmas.”
Murray starred in feature films ranging from the romantic comedies A Cinderella Story, as the romantic lead opposite Hilary Duff, and Freaky Friday opposite Lindsay Lohan, to the horror movie House of Wax, for which he won another Teen Choice Award. He took on dramatic feature film work in the war drama Home of the Brave alongside Samuel L. Jackson and Jessica Biel, and with a lead role in the critically acclaimed drama Fruitvale Station opposite Michael B. Jordan and Octavia Spencer. Following, he starred in the drama Other People's Children and the western Outlaws and Angels.
Murray also has published two novels: Everlast, released in 2011, and American Drifter: An Exhilarating Tale of Love and Murder, co-authored by Heather Graham, published in 2017.
Murray is a native of New York, and currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife and two children.

JACK TURNER (Tanner) – Jack Turner studied at the University of Oxford before moving to San Francisco where he worked for Google. During that time, he enrolled in a local acting class and became addicted to the craft.
Since moving to Los Angeles in 2012, Turner has worked in TV, film and commercials. His first movie was The 10 Year Plan, playing love-sick romantic Myles. He also starred in several Hallmark Channel original movies, including “One Winter Weekend,” “One Winter Proposal” and “My Summer Prince.” He also appeared on “Stitchers” (Freeform) for two seasons as the mysterious bad guy Liam Granger. In 2017, Turner played J.R.R Tolkien on “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow,” the first time the writer has been played on TV.
In early 2020, Turner will star in Sony’s feature film Red Devil, releasing in UK theaters before wider distribution.
Turner is a musician with over 10 years’ experience on keyboards and guitar. He played music in Hallmark Channel’s “Forever in My Heart” and created the soundtrack for Steam Room Stories- The Movie! – both released in in 2019.
