Located centrally between Busselton and Bunbury we are accessible to some of the best suppliers in the region to help tailor every detail of your event. Using our beautiful polished wood tables and solid wooden chairs, our restaurant can seat up to 90 guests. For a cocktail style event we can accommodate up 120 guests within the restaurant overlooking our vines. Alternatively we have our Sheldrake boardroom, named after the Sheldrake duck that inhabits our Capel vineyard. A private and relaxing setting that can accommodate 30 guests seated. All bookings include set up of seating plan using our chairs, tables, crockery, cutlery & glassware. Any theming or styling can be organised through your preferred supplier. Zofja Urbanski (08) 9727 1986 [email protected] Terms & Conditions Confirmation of Bookings A tentative booking will be held for a maximum of 14 days; if a deposit is not paid in this time frame, the booking will be released. A non-refundable deposit of $200 & your completed booking form are required to confirm your booking. We are happy to look at all bookings; a minimum spend of $3,500 is required for exclusive use of the venue from 6pm. Should you wish to have exclusive use of the venue earlier than this, an hourly surcharge can be discussed with our events manager. Final Numbers & Details Final guest numbers, dietary requirements and any pertinent information must be advised to the event manager 14 days prior to the event date. Event Duration Capel Vale cellar door is open from 10am to 4:30pm. As such events held in the evening must commence from 6:00pm and conclude at 11:30pm. Payment Full payment of confirmed guest numbers and any additional expenses must be made 7 days prior to the event. Any additional costs incurred will be invoiced. Cancellation Policy Should the booking be cancelled within 7 days of the event date, the deposit will not be refunded. Menu Items As we endeavour to source as much fresh, seasonal & local produce as possible; items listed on our menu can be subject to availability and may change. Appropriate substitutes will be made. Beverages Capel Vale Wines operates under a producer's license and therefore only our wines may be purchased. No BYO beverages will be accepted. Vintages are subject to change. Capel Vale upholds responsible service of alcohol, any intoxicated persons will be refused service and may be asked to leave the premises. Restrictions Our restaurant is a non-smoking venue, however smoking is permitted in the designated outdoor areas. The use of party poppers, streamers, glitter or confetti is not permitted on the premises. A cleaning surcharge of $50 per hour per member of staff will be charged if the above are used. Pricing Menu and beverage package pricing are subject to change and are inclusive of GST. Noise In respect of our neighbours on surrounding private property, a noise restriction applies from 11pm. Management requests that all guests leave the property and surrounding roads in a timely and quiet manner. Compliance It is agreed that the client will conduct their function in an orderly manner in full compliance with management and all applicable laws. Capel Vale adheres to the harm management principles in the Liquor Licensing Act and reserves the right to refuse any guest who exceeds the acceptable level of alcohol consumption or displays offensive behaviour; or to stop the service of alcoholic beverages or close the event due to any unacceptable guest behaviour. No refund or compensation will be made in this instance. No guest under the age of 18 may consume alcohol on the premises. .

    Royal Queensland Wine Show 2019 Medal Results Catalogue 2019 ROYAL QUEENSLAND WINE SHOW For 142 years, thousands of Australian winemakers have entered the nationally esteemed Royal Queensland Wine Show (RQWS) — the first capital city wine show held in Australia each year and the first to judge the new season’s vintage. Built upon longstanding traditions celebrating excellence in wine, this prestigious show continues to garner success by aligning with consumer interest and current industry trends. With the $12,000 RNA fellowship to be awarded again in 2019, the RQWS continues to be an exciting opportunity for winemakers to further their knowledge of the national and international wine industry, with fellowship funds to be used for travel, training and education towards developing their winemaking skills. The RQWS welcomes the new Chief Judge Jim Chatto, who will lead a team of expert wine judges and industry peers from across the nation. Post judging, exhibits will be showcased at ‘Grape Grazing by Night’ on Friday 12 July 2019. Now in its fourth year, ‘Grape Grazing by Night’ creates a consumer experience from exhibitors’ achievements and allows exhibitors to showcase exhibited wines and engage with 800+ consumers.
