The Islamic Republic of Afghanistan

During the reporting period, in advance of a June visit to Washington, DC by the President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Registrant contacted the office of the Speaker of the House to request a meeting for the foreign Principal.

The Government of the Republic of Angola

During the reporting period, Registrant counselled the Foreign Principal as part of a program to (1) bring Angola's financial system up to international standards, (2) increase US trade and investment, (3) enhance Angola's profile in the United States, and (4) assist with strategic communications. Registrant advised the Foreign Principal on correspondence, meetings, and other engagements with Congress and the Executive Branch. The Registrant's work also included advising on the continuity of US assistance for Angola's humanitarian demining efforts, helping prepare a request for assistance procuring COVID-19 vaccine, and sharing developments in Angola with media outlets.

Embassy of the People's Republic of China

During the reporting period, Registrant counseled the Foreign Principal on U.S. Congressional matters. This included several China-focused bills being considered in both the House and the Senate, such as S. 1260, the US Innovation and Competition Act, and H.R. 3524, the Ensuring American Global Leadership and Engagement Act. Registrant also monitored and informed the Foreign Principal of Congressional hearings and other events and developments regarding matters of interest to the Foreign Principal.

Republic of Croatia

During the reporting period, Registrant represented the Republic of Croatia in two international arbitration matters: i) MOL Hungarian Oil and Gas vs. Republic of Croatia; and 2) Marko Mihaljevic vs. Republic of Croatia. No FARA reportable activities were performed on behalf of the Foreign Principal during this reporting period.
