18 Northwest Arkansas Kennel Club, Inc. NWAKC Junior Clinic Saturday April 18, 2021 30 minutes aer BIS Food, drinks, and a snack will be provided for the juniors aending the clinic.

Clarence Lee (Jay) will be working with the juniors. The pic below is of Jay and his personal bred-by dog Sir Egan.

I was introduced to the hobby sport and art of breeding and showing dogs at the age of sixteen by my dear friend and confidant Mrs. Karla Morgan of Tempest Collies. My first purbred dog and champion was CH.Storms Tempest Call My Bluff(Gideon) a tricolor . As a breeder owner handler I have bred and co-bred fiy plus collies, sheles, pomeranians, chihuahuas, manchesters and german sheperds combined. In 2010 myself and Laurie Jeff Greer were pleased to be the breeders and owners of the Collie Club of America's winners dog whom also later became muli- BISS group winning and placing GCH. CH.Arrowhill Swords Held High that later rered as the #3 all breeder owner handled. As a professional handler I have also had the privilege of showing and finishing Collies,Shetland Sheepdogs Australian sheperds, and a number of herding toy and non-sporng breeds for some of the most wonderful clients. As of current I sll breed occasionally and handle professionally for sll the most wonderful clients a handler could ever ask for. In short there isnt a job that I have ever enjoyed as much as professional dog show handling or a art form like the sport and hobby of breeding and showing purebred dogs.

Stongly I say. NEVER forget your roots and those that thought enough of you to share thier me, knowledge and results of their breeding program with you. With that said the sport hobby and art of breeding and showing purebreed dogs definitely demands focus a open mind and most importantly determinaon. This art form most definitely isn't for the faint of heart as many seasoned hobbiest will tell you. There are so many new and wonderful things we can learn TOGETHER if we are willing to keep an open mind and put to use the tools and informaon given or offered by those that are willing to share. Even the smallest item or piece of wisedom can make a huge impact if used correctly. With that said I am pleased to be chosen to share my knowledge and experiences with those that will soon be tomorrows torch bearers future breeders, arst and hobbyists of a sport that I and so many of us hold dear to our hearts . --Clarence Lee (Jay)
