BOMBYCES and SPHINGES This guide covers around 16 families of moths, traditionally gathered of the ALPS under general names of Bombyces and Sphinges. The book includes keys for the determination of species, distribution, habitat, phenology, host plants and many other information about the individual species. Yakalanan türlerden, Nymphalidae familyasının 13 tür ile en zengin tür sayısına sahip olduğu bunu sırasıyla Noctuidae (12), Pieridae (10), Geometridae (8), Lycaenidae (6), Satyridae (6), Arctiidae (4), Sphingidae (3), Hesperiidae (2), Papillionidae (1), Zygaenidae (1), Pyralidae (1), Lasiocampidae (1), Saturniidae (1) ve Drepanidae (1) familyalarının takip ettiği tespit edilmiştir. Yakalanan türlerin 34’ünün Türkiye IUCN Kırmızı Listesi’nde LC-düşük riskli statüde yer aldığı görülmüştür. Lycaenidae familyasından Polyommatus cornelia (Gerhard, 1851) endemik, Satyridae familyasından Maniola megala (Oberthür, 1909)’nun ise “endemiğe yakın” tür grubundan olduğu tespit edilmiştir. On the faunas of other parts of the country, only fragmentary data are published (Lederer, 1853; 1855; Aibasov & Zhdanko 1982; Hacker & Peks 1990; Lehmann et al. 1998; Benedek & Bálint 2009; 2013; Korb 2013). In contrast to the West Kazakhstan, the fauna of noctuid moths of East Kazakhstan was studied inadequately.

Russo Abstract This study summarises the known records of the Macrolepidoptera species of the “Bosco Palazzi” area near the municipality of Putignano (Apulia region) in the Murgia mountains in southern Italy. The list of species is based on historical bibliographic data along with new material collected by other entomologists in the last few decades. A total of 207 species belonging to the families Cossidae (3 species), Drepanidae (4 species), Lasiocampidae (7 species), Limacodidae (1 species), Saturniidae (2 species), Sphingidae (5 species), Brahmaeidae (1 species), Geometridae (55 species), Notodontidae (5 species), Nolidae (3 species), Euteliidae (1 species), Noctuidae (96 species), and Erebidae (24 species) were identified.
