Groove box, sound library, multi-track recorder, master controller, SMPTE. Method of Evaluation/Grading For all CSLO’s: A level work is characterized by: 1) Building a fully functional electronic music studio, complete with directions of audio and midi signal flow. 2) Answering questions with 90% or higher accuracy on quizzes and written assignments. 3) Producing a high quality final compositional project with at least 4 separate tracks and 2 separate sections. The composition should be mixed and balanced in accordance to the stylistic performance of that particular musical genre. 4) Accurately and clearly describing basic electronic music terminology in a mini paper. C level student work is characterized by: 1) Building an adequately functional electronic music studio, complete with some directions of audio and MIDI signal flow. The student may make some errors in equipment placement and directions of signal flow. 2) Answering questions with 70% to79.9% accuracy on quizzes and written assignments 3) Producing a final compositional project with at least 2
