12 Feb Fri: 4 pm onwards Pedal to the Picnic: Paraparaumu/ Domain (join in the Mayoral Challenge (The “Wheely” Good River Bank ride) let’s make Kapiti the best riding town in . *****All Pedal to the Picnic events include a skills course with jumps ramps and seesaws plus other activities eg cycle soccer, balance activities, post the parcel, waiter races and opportunity to see and try unicycling. 5pm: Decorated bikes competition. 6pm: Local ride of varying distances. *********

14 Feb Sun: 10am – Kapiti Mountain Bike Club Ride: Mongrel, Moderate and easy - Campbell Mill Rd and the Akatarawas - rides of various levels.. Meet: at Valley Rd and Maungakotukutuku Rd junction. Some will ride from here – others on the easy and moderate ride then drive up the Maungakotukutuku Rd to start point. Duration: 2 hours. Bring food, water, spare tube, tools & pump.
