Accomplished in Their Own Right ACCOMPLISHED IN THEIR OWN RIGHT While his accomplishments on the field have certainly earned New York Giants quarterback TIM HASSELBECK plenty of air-time, his time on television is nothing compared to that of his wife, ELISABETH. Elisabeth co-hosts the popular TV talk show The View, and started her career as a contestant on Survivor. As Hasselbeck himself admits, at least in this category, she out-performs him in quantity and quality. “I know that whenever I’m on TV next to her, I look really bad, awkward and uncomfortable,” says the quarterback. Hasselbeck has twice served as an analyst on the NFL Network, but he’s still wary about the prospect of joining his wife in her field of expertise after his playing career ends. “There’s probably room in the broadcasting field for both of us,” he says. “But not next to her.” The couple has had a busy year aside from their career commitments. Recently, the Hasselbeck’s joined PEYTON MANNING and his wife ASHLEY on a visit to the White House to attend a state dinner in honor of QUEEN ELIZABETH II hosted by President GEORGE W. BUSH and first lady LAURA BUSH. Elisabeth Hasselbeck is just one of the females associated with an NFL player or coach who are accomplished in their own right. A plain vanilla murder / Persevero Press, 2019 "China and Ruby Wilcox are presenting their annual ''Not Just Plain Vanilla Workshop,'' always a huge hit with customers at Thyme & Seasons Herb Shop. But someone involved with the workshop is driven by a deadly motive, and China soon finds herself teaming up with the very pregnant Pecan Springs police chief Sheila Dawson to solve a vanilla-flavored murder. Sheila, happy to get out from behind the chief's desk, is investigating the death of a botany professor, a prominent researcher specializing in vanilla orchids. China is trying to help a longtime friend: the dead professor's ex-wife and a prime suspect in his murder. However, there's no shortage of other suspects: a betrayed lover, a disgruntled graduate student, jealous colleagues, and a gang of orchid smugglers. But the lethal roots of this mystery reach back into the dark tropical jungles of Mexico, where the vanilla vine was first cultivated. At stake: a lucrative plant patent, an orchid that is extinct in the wild, and the life of an innocent little girl."--Publisher description. F BLAKE Blake, Sarah. • Reminder List of Productions Eligible for Awards
REMINDER LIST OF PRODUCTIONS ELIGIBLE FOR AWARDS All films that have qualified for consideration for 2009 Academy Awards in the non-specialized categories are listed alphabetically by title. Voters making selections in their own branch categories list only film titles on their ballots, not the individuals responsible for the various achievements. For that reason, as well as for reasons of printing time and convenience of using this pamphlet, full credit rosters are not provided for the listed films. An exception to the above exists in the four Acting categories, where simply listing titles would not provide enough voting information. Actors Branch mem - bers filling out their Nominations ballots must indicate both titles and the particular performers they are voting for . For that reason, the Reminder List provides a listing of up to fifty cast members for each film. Pictures eligible in the Animated Feature Film, Documentary Feature and Foreign Language Film categories are also eligible in the Best Picture category, provided they meet the qualifications for the category. Foreign Language films are eligible for awards in other categories provided they meet the requirements of Awards Rules Two and Three. Notes A ADAM Hugh Dancy. Rose Byrne. Frankie Faison. • Obsessive Repulsive
Obsessive Repulsive By Will Self New Statesman, May 14, 2012 Compulsive hoarding is pretty out there, no? I mean what kind of a weirdo saves all that cardboard and bubble wrap, ties it up with string and wedges it in on top of crappy old wing chairs and fake-veneer TV cabinets stacked high with bundles of old newspapers and books, then tops the whole teetering pile off with 30-or-so cat litter trays (full), leaving the felines themselves—perhaps 40 of them—to smarm along the alleys carved through this dreck (for this is but one room of an entire semi so engorged), shitting and pissing wherever? A complete weirdo—that’s who. And these people, together with their odd pa- thology, are of increasing interest to the general population, as is evidenced by the arrival on these shores of the British version of Hoarders, a US documentary series about compulsive hoarders that has already been running over there for four sea- sons and is currently embarking on its fifth. Not that this is Brit TV’s first foray un- der the sinks of the seriously possessive—there was a standalone docco, Obsessive Compulsive Hoarder on Channel 4 back in 2011—and it may be because I’m taken by the phenomenon (a hoarder of programmes about compulsive hoarders) that it seems to me that I’ve snapped on the set on a number of other occasions only to find the camera’s lens nosing along a skirting board behind which are stuffed sheaths of old discount coupons.

  • Q: Were You on the White House Call? Was It Helpful? · Yes, I Was on the Call
From: Bustamante, Jeri To: jessica [email protected] Cc: Schenone, Lauren Date: Tuesday, December 01, 2015 12:16:28 PM Q: Were you on the White House call? Was it helpful? · Yes, I was on the call. The Obama Administration is STILL NOT GIVING US ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION. · The President wants us to trust their vetting process but has given us little faith that they can properly check the background of every refugee coming into our country. · It is troubling that we cannot get information on the refugees they are sending to our states so we can make the best decision for our residents. Q: Why are you joining other governors who are blocking Syrian refugees from entering your state? · FIRST – My thoughts and prayers go out to all the victims in last week’s terror attacks in Paris. You cannot imagine anything like this happening and our president needs to do EVERYTHING POSSIBLE TO ELIMINATE THE THREAT OF ISIS. · We know that at least one of the terror suspects posed as a Syrian refugee to get into France. · AND IT IS INCREDIBLY CONCERNING that President Obama is letting refugees into our country without understanding the risk these individuals may pose to our national security. Q: What are you asking the Federal Government to do? · The state can only do so much and we need Congress to step in and take immediate action to stop the President from using ANY FEDERFAL TAX DOLLARS to fund the relocation of up to 425 Syrian refugees to Florida. · AGAIN, THIS IS INCREDIBLE CONCERNING AND WE CANNOT AFFORD ANY TERRORIST ACTIVITY IN OUR NATION.
