ACCOMPLISHED IN THEIR OWN RIGHT

While his accomplishments on the field have certainly earned New York Giants quarterback plenty of air-time, his time on television is nothing compared to that of his wife, ELISABETH.

Elisabeth co-hosts the popular TV talk show , and started her career as a contestant on .

As Hasselbeck himself admits, at least in this category, she out-performs him in quantity and quality.

“I know that whenever I’m on TV next to her, I look really bad, awkward and uncomfortable,” says the quarterback.

Hasselbeck has twice served as an analyst on the NFL Network, but he’s still wary about the prospect of joining his wife in her field of expertise after his playing career ends. “There’s probably room in the broadcasting field for both of us,” he says. “But not next to her.”

The couple has had a busy year aside from their career commitments. Recently, the Hasselbeck’s joined PEYTON MANNING and his wife ASHLEY on a visit to the White House to attend a state dinner in honor of QUEEN ELIZABETH II hosted by President GEORGE W. BUSH and first lady LAURA BUSH.
