Songwriters in Seattle Showcase

Songwriters in Seattle (SIS) is a non-profit independent music support group with over 500 members. Each month features different performers playing original music across a variety of genres. The February Showcase features David Schumer, Matt McClure, ZuCo, and Roo and the Few.

Kenny Mandell's Unit Structures project is inspired by pianist Cecil Taylor. Kenny Mandell on saxes, Luther Norman on piano. Schraepfer Harvey on percussion.
This month’s featured guest is the Jump Ensemble (Mark Filler on drums and percussion, Marty Hasegawa on electric bass and Gregg Robinson on keyboards). The ensemble focuses on original tunes and their own arrangements of jazz standards.

Whateverly Brothers in Concert

Starting as a maritime music group, the Whateverly Brothers soon followed their wide interests and backgrounds into many styles and genres. Dan Roberts, Chris Glanister and Rob Kneisler, all seasoned folk music collectors, performers, and multi-instrumentalists, have delighted audiences with their varying repertoire, shimmering harmonies, striking arrangements, and offbeat humor.

Join us for an intimate evening with Seattle music treasure Ginny Reilly.
Ginny was part of folk duo Reilly & Maloney that first emerged in the 1970s. Based in Seattle and also in the San
Francisco Bay Area, she and David Maloney performed for four decades, recording 11 albums and touring nationally. They ended their partnership in 2016, and have since pursued solo careers.
