PERFECT DAY FOR LCP TEAMS IN THE DAY 2 - CITY

MEXICO CITY, OCTOBER 17. - Santa Fe, west of Mexico City, received as a closed park venue the competitors of La Carrera Panamericana, who received a greeting at a distance from the residents who watched from different points of the convoy's journey. This stage had no incidents through the finish line.

The crews enjoyed this day that required maximum concentration on the sections located on the roads of the State of , in particular the stretch of Acultzingo that includes a lot of curves that demand perfect notes to be successfully overcome. Zorillo, Acatepec, Chazumba and Zorrillo in Tazumapan, Puebla, were the points that were divided into the seven timed stages. The sections completed 57.82 kilometers, this being the shortest day in kilometers, but of great speed and concentration.

After traveling 518.59 kilometers from Veracruz to Mexico City, "El Malditillo" appeared for the second consecutive day as the best in the timetable, his team made up of Ricardo Cordero and Marco Hernández, who follow the overall's head unofficially. Followed by Hilaire and Laura Damirón and in third place, Gabriel Pérez and Angélica Fuentes, all members of the category Turismo Mayor.

"It's the second day, we haven't achieved anything yet, five more to go, and we have to do it with concentration and a lot of care," Lamb said.

"We are happy to arrive in Mexico (City) with the absolute second place so far, we are in the fight, the car is going very well and tomorrow comes one of the days that we like the most in Morelia," Hilaire Damirón said.

This Sunday, on the third day of competition, ten tests will be held that adding 112.22 kilometers against clock, highlighting the traditional Chapa de Mota, Villa del Carbón and the wonderful Mil Cumbres, which opens the way to the finish line of Day 3 in Morelia, Michoacán.
