    ANNUAL CONFERENCE 2020 PROGRAM NOTES Welcome to the NAMI Colorado 2020 Conference- we are so glad that you could join us! We want to give a special thanks to Luke White, PUSH Live, and VEEPS, for making this virtual conference happen. Also, a special thanks to all our presenters, (they all volunteered, so give them extra applause), we are so excited to share their work in mental health with you. The presentation runs on a linear stream. Your tickets to the daytime streams will be good for one month, so if you do not get a chance to watch everything this weekend, do not worry - you have a month to get back to anything! There is a tandem YouTube channel running alongside the conference, with many more classes and videos for you to enjoy- feel free to switch over at any time if something in the mainstream does not tickle your fancy. 2020 has been a challenging year- we are all feeling the strain of multiple global events that are impacting our day to day mental wellness. Furthermore, the isolation caused by COVID-19 has been a boon to some but has greatly diminished quality of life for others. At this moment in history, we need to care for the mental wellness of ourselves, our communities, and especially for those of us who have serious mental health conditions. Suicide is on the rise, Depression and anxiety too - the time is now to change the way we treat our brain health in America and throughout the world. You are that change - and we are so proud to assist you.

Hart would later fly out to Paris to direct the ‘For Lovers’ video to accompany the single Pete was on the verge of releasing with Wolfman in the spring. Pete was still playing solo gigs, advertising them on his website a day or two before they took place. He’d already recorded ‘For Lovers’ and was desperate to record the B-side; it was a beautiful song and he was convinced it would be a hit. He’d also finished recording the debut Babyshambles single. But Pete and Carl still wanted to write together. They needed to collaborate and bond after the debacle of their trip to the Welsh valleys, and they had a second Libertines album to write. So they decided to head to Paris.

It has been jointly funded by the Economics and Social Research Council and Age UK Lancaster. 1 ABSTRACT Whilst ageing in place is considered important for a healthier and a better quality of life for older people, there is yet a dearth of evidence on how older people with dementia negotiate and experience the wider community. The aim of the present study is therefore to explore experiences of social and spatial engagement in the wider community for people living with dementia in order to advance understandings of how their interactions in and with community settings impact on their health and wellbeing. Drawing on the theoretical framework of therapeutic landscapes and a sensory ethnographic methodology, I provide social, embodied and symbolic accounts of people’s everyday experiences and pursuits of health and wellbeing within their neighbourhood and beyond. An in-depth examination of socio-spatial interactions of nine people with dementia, seven of whom participated with family carers, is conducted by use of innovative interview methods (including photo-elicitation and walking interviews), participant observations and participant ‘diaries’ (kept for a period of four weeks).

    Jacknife Lee It is fair to say that Jacknife Lee has become one of the most sought after and highly influential producers currently at work. Lee’s career has encompassed work with some of the biggest and most influential artists on both sides of the Atlantic in the shape of Taylor Swift, U2, R.E.M., Kasabian, Robbie Williams and Neil Diamond. His work on U2’s “How To Dismantle An Atom Bomb” saw him collect two Grammy Awards in 2006 as well as Producer of the Year at the UK MMF Awards. He was also again Grammy nominated in 2013 for his work on Swift’s multi-million selling album “Red.” Currently working on what looks set to be the biggest album from Scottish alt-rock heroes Twin Atlantic and the debut album from The Gossip’s Beth Ditto, Lee has also produced a handful of tracks on Jake Bugg’s upcoming third album and is just about to commence work with Two Door Cinema Club after their successful collaboration on Beacon two years previously. In 2014, Lee was honoured to be asked to co-produce Neil Diamond’s “Melody Road” album alongside the tremendously talented Don Was. “Melody Road” debuted at #3 in America and #4 in the UK as it received universal critical acclaim. Lee has gained much recognition as a writer producer over the last five years. In 2014 also Lee co write and produced various singles for Kodaline’s second album “Coming Up For Air” which peaked at #2, while he also produced and co-wrote Twin Atlantic’s Radio 1 A-listed singles “Heart and Soul” and “Brothers and Sisters.” In addition, Lee spent some of the year writing and producing track for alternative urban artist Raury.
