THE ROGERS-POST, YOUR PAPER

The camp paper that you all appear willing enough to read once a week has teen published by three (3) members for the past 3 or 4 edi- tions. This is not right - it is unfair to the men who put it out and it is unfair to members who do nothing toward it’s publication. You do not need to come to the office and type until a late hour: you don't have to be an expert writer - we members of the Staff are far from being classified as such; and probably never will be able to earn our "grits and bacon" in newspaper work. There are interesting things, amusing things happening in camp, on j the job and in Avon Park and Sebring. Drop around and tell some of i the Staff or scribble the item on a piece of paper. This, of course, does not by any means mean turning in something that is purely per- sonal spite or anything that would hurt someone's feelings. If you have ever tried to write up material for a paper you will realize that it is a tough proposition if you haven't something of interest to write about. You fellows, at least 150 of you, know what you and the others want to see published; so next- Monday start hand- ing in some news. We do not mean by what is written above to criticize the men who, j on their own time, 'secure advertising, making the purchase of mater-
