MYANMAR 17/19 Días Ruta de las Mil Pagodas + Ext. Roca de Oro Lugar aun desconocido pero que cuenta con un mundo de tradición, fervor, pasado y leyenda. Visitaremos ciudades como Yangon, Mandalay, Inle o Bagan que nos hacen descubrir sus magníficos paisajes rodeados de pagodas y templos, así como descubrir la sencillez de las gentes de montaña y sus arraigadas tradiciones milenarias. RUTA PREVISTA 01- MADRID / BANGKOK / YANGON Salida en vuelo regular con destino Yangon , vía punto intermedio de conexión. Noche en vuelo. (-.-.-) 02- YANGON Llegada a Yangon , recepción en el aeropuerto y traslado al hotel. Comenzaremos nuestro día de visitas comenzando con el centro de la ciudad de Yangon de estilo colonial. Continuación a la Pagoda Chauk Htat Gyi donde se encuentra la imagen de un enorme Buda Reclinado. Se completa la visita del primer día en Myanmar con uno de los monumentos más espectaculares: la Pagoda Shwedagon : su estupa dorada es el ¨corazón¨ de Myanmar. Se estima que la pagoda tiene 2500 años de antigüedad y la estupa central esta rodeada por montones de edificios y estatuas curiosamente decoradas. Se disfruta de la puesta de sol en la pagoda. Regreso al hotel. Cena de bienvenida en el Restaurante Palacio Karaweik. Alojamiento en el hotel Summit Park View 4* . (-.-.C) 03- YANGON / MANDALAY Desayuno en el hotel. Traslado al aeropuerto para tomar vuelo con destino Mandalay . Llegada al aeropuerto de Mandalay y traslado al hotel (1hr). Por la tarde continuaremos experimentando con las vistas y sonidos de Mandalay, incluyendo una de las imágenes religiosas más importantes de Myanmar, la Pagoda de Mahamuni . Parada para ver como se talla la piedra y después como se fabrica el pan de oro. Visita del Monasterio Shwenandaw , un excelente ejemplo de arquitectura tradicional en madera; y la Pagoda Kuthodaw , donde se encuentra el libro más grande del mundo, hecho de mármol. Disfrutaremos de la espectacular puesta de sol desde la Colina de Mandalay , donde se encuentran unos interesantes templos con incrustaciones de cristal. Traslado al hotel y alojamiento en el hotel Nadi Myanmar 2* . (D.-.-) 04- EXC. AMARAPURA, AVA & SAGAING Desayuno. Visita a Amarapura (45 min), visitando antes el viejo puente de teka U bein de 200 años de antigüedad, construido en el año 1728 cuando Amarapura era la capital del reino, visita al Monasterio Mahagandayon en el que viven y estudian más de mil monjes. Si el horario lo permite, tendremos la oportunidad de observar los monjes tomando su última comida del día en silencio absoluto. Se continúa con la tradicional visita al taller de artesanía de la seda. Después de la visita el viaje continúa a Ava en barco (10 min), antigua capital Real de Inwa, situada en una isla entre los Ríos Ayeyarwady y Myitnge. Seguidamente visita del impresionante Monasterio de Maha Aungmte Bonzan , construido con ladrillos y estuco como el Monasterio Bargayas , famoso por sus grabados de madera y sus postes de teka. Continúa a la Pagoda Khaung Mu Daw en Sagaing y a las Colinas de Sagaing , lugar de retiro de los devotos Budistas. Atardecer en las colinas de Sagaing. Regreso a Mandalay por carretera y traslado al hotel. Alojamiento en el hotel Nadi Myanmar 2* . (D.-.-) 05- EXC. MINGUN Desayuno. Traslado al embarcadero para salir en excursión en barco por el río Ayeyarwaddy hasta Mingun aproximadamente 1 hora río arriba desde Mandalay. Visita de la Campana de Mingun : la campana entera más grande del mundo, con un peso de 90 toneladas y continuación a Hsinbyume y a la inacabada Pagoda construida por el rey Bodaw Paya, según el estilo de arquitectura tradicional. Embarque de regreso a Mandalay y visita a uno de los mercados locales “Zaycho” para ver el modo de vida de la de la gente local. Traslado al hotel y alojamiento en el hotel Nadi Myanmar 2* . (D.-.-) 06- MANDALAY / MONYWA Desayuno. Salida por carretera hacia Monywa (6hrs). En ruta visitamos la Pagoda Thanboddhay , la estupa central más ricamente decorada con no menos de 845 pequeñas estupas alrededor de ella. Dentro de la pagoda veremos a cientos de imágenes de Buda (sobre 500,000) decorando las paredes, arcos y huecos. Después continuaremos a Monywa , llegada y traslado al hotel. Por la tarde traslado al embarcadero para cruzar el río Chindwin en un barco local y luego por carretera para visitar una cueva de arenisca en las Colinas Phowin llamadas después por un famoso Zawgyi que una vez vivió allí, las Cuevas de Pho Win Taung, que albergan unas cien estatuas Budistas y murales. Las cuevas se encuentran excavadas en la colina y según los arqueólogos contienen la mayor exhibición del estilo Innwa siendo algunas del siglo XIV. Llegada al hotel y alojamiento en el Monywa Hotel 2*. (D.-.-) 07- MONYWA / PAKOKKU / BAGAN Después del desayuno salida por carretera a Pakkoku (2hrs). Llegada y visita a un mercado local para observar el estilo de vida de la gente local. Traslado al embarcadero para tomar un ferry local (no barco express) a Bagan (aprox. 2 horas). Llegada a Bagan antes del atardecer. Traslado al hotel. Alojamiento en el hotel Thazin Garden Resort o Bagan Thande Hotel 3*. (D.-.-) 08- BAGAN Desayuno. La primera visita de la mañana será al Mercado local Nyaung – U para conocer el modo de vida de la gente local. Se continua visitando las pagodas y templos más significativos de Bagan incluyendo la Pagoda Shwezigon construida por el Rey Anawrahta a principios del siglo XI como un centro religioso. Visita del Templo Annada : una obra maestra de la arquitectura Mon con cuatro Budas de pie y el anexo monasterio de ladrillo con murales del siglo XVIII perfectamente conservado. Visita al Templo Thatbinnnyu conocido como “templo de la omnisciencia” que data del 1144. Por la tarde, visita a una de las artesanías más famosas de Myanmar: el lacado cerca del pueblo de Myingabar . Después continuaremos con la visita al Templo Sulamani y el Templo Damayangyi (el templo mas grande de Bagan). Disfrutaremos con la experiencia de montar en un coche de caballos de camino al Templo Pyitthagyi (15min). Alojamiento en el hotel Thazin Garden Resort o Bagan Thande Hotel 3*. (D.-.-) 09- EXC. MT. POPA Desayuno. Excursión al Monte Popa en coche (1hr.) un volcán apagado con vistas espectaculares. Su culto está dedicado a los espíritus animistas conocidos como ¨nats¨ y habrá que subir 777 escalones para llegar a la cima. Regreso por carretera a Bagan y si el tiempo lo permite veremos el atardecer sobre el Río Ayeyarwaddy . Alojamiento en el hotel Thazin Garden Resort o Bagan Thande 3*. (D.-.-) 10- BAGAN / HEHO / PINDAYA / KALAW Desayuno en el hotel. Traslado al aeropuerto para salir en vuelo a Heho . Llegada a Heho y traslado por carretera a Pindaya (aprox. 2 horas) por un interesante camino que atraviesa colinas y la meseta Shan a través de campos de arroz. Llegada y alojamiento. Por la tarde, visita de las magnificas cuevas Pindaya . Continuaremos visitando algunas casas locales donde las familias producen papel Shan y sombrillas. Pasearemos bajo los antiguos árboles Banyan, de los que se dicen que tienen 200 años. Continuación por carretera a Kalaw (1hora y media) llegada y visita por los alrededores de Kalaw. Traslado al hotel. Alojamiento en el hotel Hill Top Villa Resort 2* . (D.-.-) 11- KALAW / TREKKING / KALAW Desayuno. Salida por carretera durante unos 10 minutos hacia el punto de salida del trekking. Llegada y salida a pie ascendiendo por la pequeña montaña. Algunos trayectos serán de bajada. Durante el trekking veremos plantaciones de te, hoja de cereza, etc. Después de unas 2hrs y media caminando llegaremos a la aldea Ywar Thit . Visita de la aldea donde viven los Danu. Después bajaremos por la Pequeña Montaña durante unos 15 min hasta alcanzar la aldea Tar Yaw . Esta aldea cuenta con una gran casa de estilo Palaung . En esta casa conviven de 6 a 8 familias juntas. Observaremos sus trabajos artesanales, sus plantaciones de te así como la convivencia de las familias en una misma casa. Saldremos a comer en un lugar con una bonita vista panorámica de la zona. Tras el almuerzo tendremos un breve descanso antes de salida hacia el punto de partida del trekking donde nos estará esperando nuestro vehículo. Durante el trekking estaremos unas 6h30 aproximadamente. Regreso por carretera a Kalaw y traslado al hotel. Alojamiento en el hotel Hill Top Villa Resort 2* . (D.-.-) 12- KALAW / NYAUNG SHWE / LAGO INLE Desayuno.Por la mañana visita del colorido mercado local. Se continúa valle abajo hasta Nyaungshwe a la orilla del Lago Inle: famoso por sus únicos remeros con el pie, durante unas dos horas y media. Llegada a la Pagoda Nyaungshwe y visita alrededor de Nyaung Shwe. Llegada al hotel a través del lago. Alojamiento en el hotel Golden Island Cottage (Standard) o Paradise Resort 2* . (D.-.-) 13- LAGO INLE Desayuno. Excursión en barco a la orilla este del Lago Inle y visita de la Pagoda Phaung Daw Oo el más santo lugar del estado del Sur de Shan. El mercado flotante y las villas y jardines donde crecen frutas y verduras. Se visita una tienda para ver la artesanía de seda y madera y herreros. Traslado al hotel y alojamiento en el hotel Goleen Island Cottage (Standard) o Paradise Resort 2*. (D.-.-) 14- EXC. PAGODA INDEIN Después del desayuno, excursión en barco por el lago para ver a los famosos remeros, los típicos jardines flotantes, observar el método local de pesca, la vida en las aldeas y magníficos paisajes. Visita a unos de los mercados locales de la región del Lago Inle y luego salida en barco por la orilla oeste del lago donde inicia un camino de escalinata hacia el desconocido complejo de la Pagoda Inn Dein .

In writing the First Chapter, the artifacts and implements of Neolithic age period, the religious edifices and wall paintings are mainly used as evidences to show the development of Pakhangyi region as one of the main centres of Myanmar civilization other than Bagan and other places of cultural interest. The First Chapter asserts the historical and cultural legitimacy of the Pakhangyi region by presenting its visible facets of successive periods starting from the stone age: stone implements, how the very term Pakhangyi emerge, the oldest villages, the massive city wall, how the city was rebuilt five times, the quality of bricks used and the pattern of brick bonding, water supply system, agriculture and the region’s inhabitants.

Tras recoger nuestro equipaje, nos encaminamos a pasar el control de inmigración. Unos metros antes de llegar, vemos a una joven a través de una cristalera que separa la Terminal con el exterior, con un cartel y donde aparecían nuestros nombres. Era personal del Receptivo, Adventur Myanmar, con el que habíamos contratado algunos servicios en el país, entre los que se encontraban, la tramitación de la Carta de Invitación para que nos emitieran el Visado de entrada. Nos dirigimos hacia ella, y para nuestra sorpresa gira la hoja, y en perfecto castellano pone: “Presenta la Carta de invitación y no paguéis nada, la agencia lo ha pagado todo” Pues bien, al presentar los pasaportes, nos solicitan 2 fotos, que no tenemos y no pasa nada. No nos solicitan la carta de invitación, imagino que ellos tendrían copia, todo muy fácil, rápido y sencillo. 1 Nos trasladamos a sus oficinas, ya que teníamos que abonar el importe de los hoteles reservados, 4 vuelos internos, dos visitas y traslados de día completo junto con el treking de dos días.
