WRITTEN BY MELINDA SCHNEIDER AND DAVID MITCHELL 2008 brought with it an exciting new phase in Melinda’s career, with the launch of her own independent record label, Be Music. The label’s MUSICIANS first release was Melinda’s fifth studio album MELINDA SCHNEIDER Be Yourself in July 2008, which earned her a SINGER second ARIA nomination for Best Country Album. As 2010 unfolded, the career dimensions of Melinda Schneider broadened dramatically. In November 2014, long-time friends Melinda and collaborated in the #1 Australian Country album Great Women of Country and the Songs That Made Them, a hugely successful twenty-two song heartfelt homage to the songs, the songwriters and the singers who have shaped them.
