Dear Prep Families:

We hope that you are doing well and that you and your family units are staying healthy. As we have said throughout, we are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation and know that it is rapidly evolving. Since we wrote to you Saturday evening, the Governor has taken more drastic measures to keep our communities safe; he implemented a statewide closure of all school, limited gatherings to no more than 25 people, stopped dine-in and consumption at restaurants, and eliminated visitors to nursing homes (among other things). Things are changing quickly and we are doing our best to stay on top of them. We have been using the Mass.Gov and Center for Disease Control & Prevention websites to guide us. We hope you also find them helpful.

Today we wanted to pass along four pieces of information: 1. Materials Pick-up: For those students and families that were not able to pick up materials on Friday, we are hosting pick-up times on Tuesday, March 17th. These will be from 11am – 1pm and 6pm – 8pm. We ask, for reasons of social distancing, that people adhere to the staggered arrival times to pick up materials. Please enter the building under the Boston Prep sign to gather items. a. Last name A – D 11:00-11:30am and 6:00-6:30pm b. Last name E – K 11:30am-12:00pm and 6:30-7:00pm c. Last name L – Q 12:00-12:30pm and 7:00-7:30pm d. Last name R – Z 12:30-1:00pm and 7:30-8:00pm

2. Food access: We will be offering food service at Boston Prep from 11:00am – 1:00pm every day. For social distancing, we will use a staggered approach to food pick up. At the food pick-up, students can gather lunch and breakfast. Additionally, students are welcome to use any food distribution site in the City of Boston (listed at the end of this letter). You do not need to come to Boston Prep and can go to sites closer to your home. a. Last name A – D 11:00-11:30am b. Last name E – K 11:30am-12:00pm c. Last name L – Q 12:00-12:30pm d. Last name R – Z 12:30-1:00pm

3. Next Communication: We will send another communication to all families by Wednesday, March 18th. It will discuss remote learning opportunities in more depth.

Thank you for your continued partnership and understanding. We miss having our hallways bustling with our students. Their energy, curiosity, and spirit fills our days. We look forward to working together in the days ahead so we all stay engaged. In the interim, please take good care and encourage students to stay home and practice social distancing.

Be well, Sharon Liszanckie Eileen Callahan Cristina Lopez Julie Duran
