HOUSEKEEPING SERVICES If you are making The Lodges at Timber Ridge by Welk Resorts your home for the week, our Housekeeping staff will service your room on the third day after you check in. We will provide fresh towels, empty your trash cans, tidy up the kitchen and counters, clean your floors and carpets, and make your beds. If you plan to spend an additional week with us, we will change your linens and perform a full cleaning service. If you would like additional service, please contact the Housekeeping at ext. 130 to inquire about rates.
TRASH/REFUSE PICK UP Please understand that with the unique wildlife surrounding our property, we want to do everything possible to protect them but also discourage them from becoming annoying pests. We ask that you utilize the trash containers in your unit and not leave any trash outside on your balcony, door step, or surrounding property. Trash is emptied during your housekeeping service. If you fnd that you need additional trash removal, please contact Housekeeping at ext. 130.

IF YOU ARE ORDERED TO EVACUATE YOUR ROOM AND THE DOOR IS NOT HOT: • EXIT WITH CAUTION: Feel the door. If the door is NOT HOT, open it slightly and look in both directions for the nearest, safe exit • Take your room key if available, exit the room, and close the door behind you • Walk to the nearest stairway and exit the building, DO NOT RUN

SMOKING POLICY To maintain the beauty of our surroundings and the health of our guests, we request that guests do not smoke inside the Lodges. Please respect the other guests and refrain from smoking in common areas with the exception of those marked as designated smoking only. A fee of $500 will be assessed if signs of smoking are detected in your unit.
14 INSPIRED FOR YOU OPERATING THE REMOTE CONTROLS You should fnd three remotes in your room — cable (as pictured below), DVD, and TV.
To watch cable: Optimally, press “Power” on the cable remote. If that does not work, follow these instructions: 1. Using the TV remote, press “Input” until you see HDMI 1 or HDMI 2. 2. Highlight either of the HDMI channels and press “Select” (the large middle compass button). This should start your cable TV. 3. This should get you back to cable. You can now put the other remotes further away to eliminate confusion To watch a DVD: 1. Turn on the DVD player. 2. Using the TV remote, press and hold “Input” until you see “Comp/AV.” 3. Highlight “Comp/AV” and press “Select” (the large middle compass button). This should bring you to the DVD start page. 4. To go back to watching cable, simply follow the frst set of instructions.
