Orchestra Collegium 1704 One of the supreme masterworks of Baroque polyphony, the Missa Salisburgensis by the brilliant Bohemian-born composer-violinist Chorus Collegium Vocale 1704 Heinrich Biber is here performed in the Salzburg Cathedral – the very Conductor Václav Luks building where it was first heard – as part of the Festival’s celebrations for the bicentenary of the former prince-bishopric’s union with Soprano 1 Silvia Frigato, Miriam Austria.
