BNP APPOINTS RICHARD GREEN TO A SENIOR CORPORATE COVERAGE ROLE IN AUSTRALIA

Sydney, 28 March 2011 - BNP Paribas is pleased to announce the appointment of Richard Green as Managing Director and Senior Banker, Corporate Coverage, in its Corporate and business in Australia.

In this role, Richard will be responsible for managing a portfolio of large corporate clients in Australia, working with BNP Paribas’ specialised global product teams to provide those clients with advice and solutions for their working capital, financing and risk management needs in Australia, and other international markets.

Richard has 25 years’ experience as a corporate and institutional banking executive in the Australian market. Most recently, he was Executive General Manager and Head of Client Relationship Management and Transaction Banking at Commonwealth of Australia. He held this role until May 2010.

Richard is based in Sydney and will be part of the Corporate Coverage team, headed in Australia by Bill McCully.
