Brickmania at Pax West PAX? What the heck is that? PAX stands From the opening day, we answered for Penny Arcade Expo. In 2004, the folks at thousands of questions from thousands of Penny Arcade decided they wanted a show stunned attendees as they were stopped exclusively for gaming and gamers. Sure, in their frantic booth to booth travels by the comics, anime and other nerd hobbies were sight of our model; “Is that LEGO®?”, “How cool, and those activities all had their own many pieces did it take to build that?”, “How shows… so what about games? From that big is it?”, “Can I buy it?”. We were thrilled idea spawned a small 4,500-person event in with the overwhelming positive responses! Bellevue, Washington, focused on the culture and community that is gaming. PAX now boasts tens of thousands of attendees each year in Seattle! This year, Wargaming.net, the creators of the video games World of Tanks, World of War- planes, and World of Warships invited us to bring our 26-foot-long model of the battleship USS Missouri, made out of genuine LEGO® elements, and display it in their World of War- ships booth at PAX. Of course, we jumped at the opportunity! www.brickmania.com Another positive outcome of our trip to PAX West 2016 was…………..getting to ride on a replica Panzer III as it crushed different items!!!! Check out these photos! At Brickmania, most of us are avid military historians. We strive for historical accuracy in all of our creations, and we are passionate about being able to experience military ve- hicles first hand. It allows us to see up close and personal features that we can include in our kits, so we never pass up an opportunity to see these vehicles in our travels. Can you imagine how we felt when Casey Pitta from Wargaming.net asked us if we wanted to ride on the tank as it crushed something? I cannot put in print my real response, suffice to say that I said yes! Overall, our experience at PAX was extreme- ly positive. It was a great opportunity and we loved being able to talk to so many people that had never seen nor heard of us before.
