JOHNSON Anik and Stann Call Fights; Former UFC Welterweight Contender Hardy and Florian Serve as Analysts Alongside Bryant LOS ANGELES – Former UFC welterweight contender Dan Hardy (@DanHardyMMA) returns to the studio desk for the second consecutive week, working as an analyst alongside retired UFC contender Kenny Florian (@KennyFlorian) and host Karyn Bryant (@KarynBryant) for FS1 UFC FIGHT NIGHT: POIRIER VS. JOHNSON on Saturday, Sept. 17 (10:00 PM ET). Reporter Laura Sanko (@Laura_Sanko) joins the team to interview fighters on site. The exciting headliner features No. 7-ranked Dustin Poirier (20-4) facing No. 10 Michael Johnson (17-10) in a key lightweight matchup. Jon Anik (@Jon_Anik) and Brian Stann (@BrianStann) call the fights on FS1 live from Hidalgo, Texas, while Victor Davila (@mastervic10) and Erik Perez (@Goyito_Perez) make the call in Spanish on FOX Deportes. Rounding out the action-packed three-hour main card on FS1, No. 9-ranked middleweight Uriah Hall fights No. 10 Derek Brunson (15-3), while No. 15-ranked lightweight Evan Dunham (16-6) takes on Rick Glenn (18-3). Roan Carneiro (20-10) battles Kenny Robertson (15-3) at welterweight. Chris Wade (11-2) and Islam Makhachev (12-1) square off at lightweight, while Chas Skelly (15-2) and Maximo Blanco (12-7-1, 1NC) open the main card with a featherweight scrap. The FS1 UFC FIGHT NIGHT PRELIMS start at 8:00 PM ET with four exciting bouts, including Gabriel Benitez (18-6) facing Sam Sicilia (15-6) in a featherweight matchup. Augusto Montano (15-2) and Belal Muhammad (9-1) square off at welterweight, while middleweights Antonio Carlos Junior (5-2) and Leonardo Augusto Leleco (11-2) face each other. Bantamweights Jose Quinonez (5-2) and Joey Gomez (6-1) open the PRELIMS. Saturday’s coverage on FS1 begins with the UFC FIGHT NIGHT PREFIGHT SHOW (7:00 PM ET), while the FS1 UFC FIGHT NIGHT POSTFIGHT SHOW immediately follows the main event with Bryant, Florian and Hardy providing analysis of the action and Sanko interviewing winners. The UFC FIGHT NIGHT WEIGH-IN SHOW airs live on FS2 Friday, Sept. 16 (5:00 PM ET) with Bryant, Florian and Hardy providing insights about the fighters as they tip the scales.
