2008 Oregon State Baseball • www.osubeavers.com 141 Media Exposure/Outlets

Media Exposure

Oregon State baseball is one of the highest profile teams nationally, with multiple , television stations and radio outlets covering the team on a regular basis. The Beavers appear regularly on FSN Northwest during the regular season, and have been broadcast on ESPN and CSTV in past seasons. The Bea- vers are one of the most recognized teams in the nation because they have appeared on ESPN more than any collegiate team over the past three seasons. National media organizations, such as Baseball America and Rivals.com, have focused on the team. National features on Oregon State players and coaches are common by these outlets. Every Oregon State game is broadcast on the radio and on www.osubeavers.com. Additionally, select home games are available on Spanish Language Radio. Head coach Pat Casey and the baseball program are the focus of weekly Beaver Sports Talk (radio) segments on Tues- days during the season, while Beavers All Access, a weekly program on FSN Northwest, spotlights the club as OSU domi- nates the airwaves and the small screen. A full-time sports information staff, with Hank Hager as the baseball contact, are on hand to work with the club, serving as liaisons to the media and providing media training.
