A 3-day Appetizer

Day 1: Arriving in Copenhagen, meet your local guide at the airport and embark on a 3 hour orientation tour of the sights of Wonderful Copenhagen, culminating in a relaxing and scenic canal cruise through the picturesque harbor and canals. Disembark in the colorful Canal district and step inside one of the historic restaurants for a traditional Danish lunch. Next, transfer to your hotel and check-in. Enjoy some time to settle in and relax before the evening’s activities. Transfer to world- famous Garden for an exclusive backstage tour of the historic Pantomime Theater, followed by a glass of champagne, before strolling to a high-class restaurant within the Garden for a delicious 3- course dinner. At the conclusion of the evening, transfer back to hotel.

Day 2: Start your day with a walking tour with ’s most famous writer, Hans-Christian Andersen. An actor in costume and character as the fairy tale writer will lead you on a 2-hour tour of ‘his Copenhagen’, ending at the . Here you will step inside for a guided tour of the elegant Royal Reception rooms, followed by a contemporary Danish lunch in the new Tower Restaurant, located inside the Palace bell tower. Next, transfer by Rickshaws to the old Royal Theater for an exclusive backstage tour of the historic theater building from 1748, including a glass of sparkling wine to enjoy an exclusive solo-performance of one of the theater’s singers on the main stage. For an afternoon treat, enjoy a special guided tour of the Copenhagen Food Halls to understand and appreciate the Danish addiction to licorice. Return to your hotel for a rest and a change of clothes before heading out to dinner in one of Copenhagen hidden restaurant gems.

Day 3: Today you will get more hands-on with a visit to one of Denmark’s up and coming jewelers for a jewelry workshop. Under her expert tutelage you will learn to create your own unique piece of jewelry as a keepsake of your Copenhagen visit. Continue on to the whimsical Royal Copenhagen Café for yet more artful handcrafting, this time with Smushi, and learn to make these artful and bite-sized Danish appetizers from scratch in an entertaining and tasty Smushi-Workshop. After enjoying the finished results of your workshop, set out for a visit to one of Copenhagen’s prominent architects to hear about the dynamic and exciting development of the city along green and sustainable guidelines that is taking place right now. It is now time for coffee and at Copenhagen Roaster you not only get coffee, but also a tour of the innovative micro-roasting facility, an introduction to single estate coffee and a tasting of organic gourmet chocolate. Transfer back to your hotel for a break before heading out to a farewell dinner at one of the city’s Michelin-starred restaurants.

Day 4: Check-out hotel and transfer to airport for departure

After lunch you will explore world-famous Danish bicycle culture by taking a guided bike ride through the nooks and crannies of the old city, ending up at your hotel. Enjoy some time to settle in and relax before the evening’s activities. Transfer to world-famous Tivoli Garden for a fun game of Pentathlon – competing in 5 classic fairground games, before strolling to a high-class restaurant within the Garden for a delicious 3-course dinner. At the conclusion of the evening, transfer back to hotel.

Day 2: Start your day with a transfer to the elegant mansion of Sølyst, home to the Royal Danish Shooting Society, and test your aim shooting firearms on the historic course. Enjoy a delicious Danish lunch in the historic halls of Sølyst. After lunch RIB Boats await to whisk you over to the tiny Swedish island of Hven – home of the worlds smallest commercial whiskey pot still and one of Sweden's best Beer- and Whisky bars. Enjoy a tour of the distillery and a tasting of Spirit of Hven whiskey. Return to Copenhagen by RIB Boat and disembark at the impressive Copenhagen Opera House for an exclusive backstage tour, including a glass of sparkling wine to enjoy a solo-performance of one of the Opera singers. Return to your hotel for a rest and a change of clothes before heading out to dinner in one of Copenhagen hidden restaurant gems.

Day 3: In the morning transfer to a downtown kayak base and head out on a kayak exploration of the historic harbor and quaint canals of Copenhagen. Next, step inside historic Christiansborg Palace – home of Danish Parliament – for a guided tour of the elegant Royal Reception rooms. Continue on to the whimsical Royal Copenhagen Café for a Smushi-workshop - learn to make these artful and bite- sized Danish appetizers from scratch and enjoy the finished results for lunch. Now it is time to transfer to the old district for an exhilarating round of Go-Cart Racing on one of the largest indoor tracks in the country. Suit up and race your team mates in what has been called ‘Denmark’s best go cart experience’. And while in the Carlsberg district, do not miss the opportunity to visit the Carlsberg Visitors Center and a round of freshly brewed beer in the Jacobsen Bar. After this, transfer back to your hotel for a break before heading out to a farewell dinner at one of the city’s Michelin-starred restaurants.
