AUCTION SALE NOTICE - (Sale Through E-Bidding Only) {For immovable property (ties) / secured asset (s)} Whereas the undersigned being the Authorized Officer of Housing Development Finance Corporation Limited [hereinafter called “HDFC Limited”] under the Securitization and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002 (The Act) and in exercise of power conferred under section 13(12) read with rule 3 of the Security Interest (Enforcement) Rules, 2002 (The Rules) issued demand notices under section 13(2) of the Act calling upon the Borrower(s)/Mortgagor(s) as the case may be, whose name/s have been indicated in column (A) below, to repay the outstanding amount indicated in column (B) written against each of them within 60 days from the date of receipt of the said notice or within 60 days from date of publication of the demand notice in the newspapers, as applicable. However, upon the Borrower(s)/Mortgagor(s) / Legal Heir(s) and Legal Representative(s) as the case may be having failed to repay the amount/s and/or discharge the loan liability in full, the Authorized Officer of HDFC Ltd has taken over possession and control of the respective immovable properties / secured assets mortgaged with HDFC Limited, described in column (C) herein below, to recover the said outstanding amount, in exercise of powers conferred on the Authorized Officer under section 13 (4) of the Act.     BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT M/s. Indian Institute of Technology Madras has proposed an expansion of academic, residential and hostel buildings at Survey block nos 15 (part-2), 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27 & 29 of Guindy park village No. 119, Guindy Planning division, Planning unit No15.5 of Guindy Taluk, Block nos 1 (part),2 (part),3,4,5(part),8,9,148 of Velachery village, Block no 1 of Taramani village, Block no 8 of Kanagam village of Velachery Taluk, Chennai District. The campus lies between 120 58’ 50’’ to 130 00’ 19’’ North latitude and 800 13’ 30’’ to 800 14’ 35’’ East longitude and is covered in the Survey of India topo sheet No. 66 D/1., with an aerial extent of 248 Ha. The total built up area and land area of the proposed project is 7,76,034 sq.m and 24,73,974 sq.m respectively. The project involves construction of Construction of the following buildings: S.
