Overview Palms Casino Resort has invested $50 million in property-wide transformation that has re-energized the world-famous Las Vegas destination. The renovation included a lavish Ivory Tower room and suite redesign, the addition of appealing new culinary options, re-imagined gaming spaces and new, distinctive nightlife and beverage experiences.
Coming Soon XISHI – EXPECTED OPENING: AUGUST 2013 o The ONE Group also will introduce XISHI (pronounced “zai-she”), a restaurant offering pan-Asian cuisine. XISHI will offer traditional and contemporary Asian dishes in a modern vibe-driven space with a feminine twist. The restaurant’s appealing design aesthetic will be centered around a chic lounge bar with beats coming from a deejay spinning nightly. Guests can enjoy the space for a full dining experience or simply cocktails and appetizers before heading out for the night.
What’s New The View – MARCH 2013 o The View is a unique recreational space with a stylish bar scene and of course, spectacular views of the city. Part big-city bar elevated by the charm of old-school board games, billiards and shuffleboard, The View is an upscale lounge perfect for casual conversation, cocktails and eclectic musical offerings. Located atop the Fantasy Tower between Nove Italiano and Moon Nightclub, The View is the perfect transition spot from dinner-to-nightclub or a final destination for a nightcap
HERAEA – FEBRUARY 2013 o HERAEA, the all new ultra-chic American restaurant and sports lounge created by The ONE Group offers enticing cuisine, energetic music and state-of-the-art sports viewing in a stylish space, making it the best place to watch a game and enjoy great fare. The concept is inspired by the Heraean Games created in 600 B.C., in honor of the Goddess Hera, the wife of Zeus. HERAEA is complete with an upbeat music program featuring deejays spinning nightly, as well as a back bar stage for special live performances and a 9’x35’ wall-to-wall LED television screen for sports and entertainment viewing.
Casino Floor Redesign – JANUARY 2013 o The entire casino layout is reconfigured to maximize flow and ambiance. Changes include more than 250 new slot machines, design upgrades and vibrant new carpet a bright translucent new arrival experience via new front doors.
SOCIAL – JANUARY 2013 o As the name alludes, the center bar is the social hub of the property located at the heart of the renovated casino floor. SOCIAL offers a broad selection of beverages with an emphasis on whiskey featuring a collection of over 30 unique labels, single malts, limited edition bourbons, whiskey-based cocktails and more. Designed by The Rockwell Group, SOCIAL features dramatic lighting fixtures, plush booths, intimate tables and open sightlines of the action on the gaming floor. SOCIAL is the ideal place to meet for a drink or spend a night on the town in a comfortable yet chic setting.
Ivory Tower Guestrooms and Suites – DECEMBER 2012 o All 428 rooms and suites in the Ivory Tower have been remodeled in an ultra-chic and modern style. Rooms became available in September. o Designed by Klai Juba Architects, the sophisticated Premier rooms feature horizontal lines, warm wood tones and vibrant luxe velvets. o Each sleek space is highlighted by a dramatic, custom mural that extends horizontally wall to wall above the bed. The mural contains a seductive set of eyes and bold colored palm leaves which complements the room’s sleek design. o In the Ivory Suite, the living area of the space is accented with luxe velvets and features a plush magenta sofa, bringing in a feminine touch that is a splendid complement to the pops of color found in the Premier guestrooms. The bedrooms are highlighted with colorful accents to offset an oversized rich, warm wood toned headboard with white leathered panels o Each room provides luxurious amenities for the ultimate guest experience including a Serta pillow top mattress, lush down feather pillows and bedding, and a 46" Samsung HD LED Television.
Scarlet – DECEMBER 2012 9Group Las Vegas brings a new sophisticated bar with an elaborate mixology program created by renowned mixologist Francesco Lafranconi to Palms with the opening of Scarlet. Scarlet provides an intimate atmosphere and a select libation menu featuring top-shelf liquors, unique infused spirits, exclusive signature cocktails and much more.
Chocolat Bistro – NOVEMBER 2012 With roots in Italy, the world famous Chocolat Bistro is a stylishly chic fusion of traditional European creperie and patisserie featuring delectable crepes, handcrafted chocolates, a palette of bright, fruit gelatos and an array of mouthwatering desserts. The space is chocolate chic, bringing the taste of top tier chocolates to life through contemporary design featuring rich wood tones, creamy caramel accents and sparkling chandeliers all complementing a menu designed to make every bite delectable.
Earl of Sandwich at The Eatery – JULY 2012 o Earl of Sandwich sandwiches are made-to-order, using top-quality, fresh ingredients and served on artisan baked bread. Open 24 hours seven day-a-week, Earl of Sandwich also serves a variety of soups and salads and breakfast offerings. Earl of Sandwich features the freshest meats and cheeses, including Angus Beef roasted in-house daily, the freshest produce and signature artisan breads & desserts baked daily.
Fortunes – JULY 2012 o A restaurant within a restaurant, Fortunes is an intimate space inside 24 Seven Café serving authentic regional Chinese cuisine including Szechuan, Cantonese and Mandarin favorites. House-made dim sum is served daily and other specialties include poached chicken, peaking duck and oxtail stew served in a clay pot. Fortunes also features fresh live Santa Barbara prawns, Dungeness crab, Rock cod and Maine Lobster flown in fresh daily.
Bistro Buffet Refresh – JUNE 2012 o Guests can indulge, over and over again, in the recently updated Bistro Buffet which now features over 250 different items daily. The talented chefs unveiled an array of tempting dishes, an interactive Mongolian grill and all-new American and French desserts and pastries sure to satisfy any palate. The fresh new menus also include an expanded offering of salads and grilled seasonal vegetables and authentic varieties of Mexican, Chinese, American Southern and Mediterranean cuisines including a make- your-own nacho bar, tri tip at the carving station and classic comfort foods. The best part about it all, all lunch and dinner buffets come with all you can drink beer and wine.
Cantor Gaming Race & Sports Book and Poker Room – MAY 2012 o The refurbished race and sports book promises patrons the highest-quality visual entertainment with the latest technological advancements, 1,200 sq. ft. of LED TV screens, and more than 90 seats to watch your favorite races and games.
Tonic Bar – MAY 2012 o At Tonic Bar bigger is better with a large selection of beers on tap, specialty daily cocktails and now over 25 gaming machines. Tonic Bar is located inside of the Cantor Gaming Race & Sports Book and Poker Room.
