He pushed a smart horse in Eskylane close on his comeback run at Punchestown before losing out by the narrowest of margins to Fakiera in a thriller at Fairyhouse last time. That looks rock solid form and it could be third time lucky now. Captain Kangaroo looked a nice sort when taking a Clonmel bumper in March and is still in the 'could be anything' category. He is sure to be well schooled for this task but jumps experience could be a big plus for Gabynako. Battle Of Actium, a point-to-point winner, was placed behind Eskylane in a bumper at Navan back in January. He looks an interesting hurdling debutant but may want further than this in time. Top Tip: GABYNAKO (5) Watch out for: CAPTAIN KANGAROO (3) © 2020 At The Races. All Rights Reserved. The Masked Marvel gelding won the second of two outings in his native land and the front pair pulled 30 lengths clear of the field that day. The runner-up has run a decent race in a Listed hurdle since, so that form looks strong enough. Gars En Noir made a couple of mistakes on the way round when winning at Auteuil in March and is sure to have been well schooled since joining the champion trainer. Indiana Jones was impressive when winning on his debut at Cork at the start of the month and looks a danger. He is a big horse and may improve with time. Call Me Lyreen is unbeaten in two starts and has to be respected but this looks a significant jump up in class from winning at Sligo last time. He made Notebook pull out all the stops in the Irish Arkle at Leopardstown last season and may be able to turn the tables now at these weights. This small field could suit Willie Mullins' charge who reportedly ran too freely when disappointing in the Arkle at Cheltenham back in March. Notebook was beaten favourite at Cheltenham when only a moderate sixth. He had looked the top Irish novice prior to that when winning two Grade One events at Leopardstown, beating Fakir D'oudairies at Christmas, and, as mentioned above, Cash Back at the Dublin Racing Festival. He is the form choice but giving weight away here to Cash Back looks a tough ask. Fakir D'oudairies was also a Grade 1 winner last season, when taking the Drinmore, and was very consistent, finishing second in the Arkle at Cheltenham. He is obviously also a big player in a cracking little heat.
