Editor's Note

Dear Hoppers, Our names are Abby and Amelia and we are the editors-in-chief of The Augur Bit. We both joined the staff during our freshman year, and we have grown to love The Augur Bit during our time at GDS. Now, as seniors, we hope to impart our love for The Bit onto new writers. We encourage each and every one of you to try your hand at writing. It may seem daunting, but we do our best to help you through every single article. We publish two to three times per semester, and we announce mass meetings each edition. Come to a mass meeting to try out writing, photographing, designing or cartoon-making. We hope this edition of The Augur Bit served as a good introduction into life at GDS, es- pecially into life on The Augur Bit staff. Thanks for reading this edition! The Augur Bit would not be possible without all our readers. Good luck this semester.

Sincerely, Abby Murphy and Amelia Myre
