Actor and Comedian Adam Devine to Host “2017 Mtv Movie & Tv Awards” ACTOR AND COMEDIAN ADAM DEVINE TO HOST “2017 MTV MOVIE & TV AWARDS” WATCH IT LIVE FROM 10AM ON MAY 8 ON MTV Click HERE to View Host Announcement Video with Embed Code April 6, 2017 – MTV today announced that comedian, film and TV star Adam Devine will host young Hollywood’s party of the year at the “2017 MTV Movie & TV Awards” LIVE from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California broadcasting live on MTV on May 8 at 10am. “I’m so excited to host the ‘MTV Movie & TV Awards,’” said Adam Devine. “I have dreamed about it since I was a teenager. It was usually a dry dream, but I would be remiss if I didn’t admit that sometimes it was wet.” Adam Devine is quickly becoming one of the most sought after young comedians and actors in the comedy world. Devine is best known as a co-creator, writer, and star of the hit Comedy Central show “Workaholics,” which recently wrapped it’s seventh and final season. Devine starred opposite Zac Efron in the recent hit, Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates, and can next be seen in Magic Camp where he will be playing Andy, a camp counselor who returns to the camp of his youth hoping to reignite his career. Additionally, Devine will be seen alongside Alexandra Daddario in Netflix’s “When We First Met,” which will be released in 2017. Devine has headlined sold-out comedy shows all over the nation. Devine acts, writes and produces all of Mail Order Comedy’s material, including Workaholics. He was ridiculed for his curly hair, so he shaved it off in 1998 due to peer pressure.[1] He later moved to Los Angeles to work with improvisational comedy troupes such as The Groundlings and Upright Citizens Brigade.[2] While working as a pizza delivery driver, he attended Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, where he met future co-star Adam DeVine.[ 3]. Robert Blake Anderson (born March 24, 1969) is an American football coach and former player. Anderson is currently the head coach of the Arkansas State Red Wolves football team. He was the North Carolina Tar Heels offensive coordinator in 2012 and 2013. He was previously the offensive coordinator at Southern Miss. Anderson began his playing career as a quarterback and wide receiver at Baylor University from 1987 to 1989, but tore his ACL during practice. After his recovery he chose to transfer to Sam Houston State University where he played as a wide receiver for the Bearkats from 1989 to 1991. At Sam Houston State he was named to the Southland Conference All-Academic team as a senior. During his college days he played in the I-formation and Veer offenses popular at the time.
