Of Epos SDK for Ios Cannot Find the Network Printer on Ios/Ipados 14 Or Later
Workaround for an issue regarding 'Discovery' of ePOS SDK for iOS cannot find the network printer on iOS/iPadOS 14 Seiko Epson Corporation Dec 14th, 2020 Issue 'Discovery' of ePOS SDK for iOS cannot find the network printer on iOS/iPadOS 14 or later. Cause This issue depends on the specification change of iOS/iPadOS 14. From iOS/iPadOS 14 or later, users have to apply to Apple and change their implementation if the app sends broadcast or multicast messages. Because the ePOS SDK uses broadcast to search for printers. Workaround methods As of now, SEC thinks there are 2 workaround methods. 1. Version down of "Target" on "TARGETS" “General” " Deployment Info" to lower than iOS12.0 (iOS11.4 or before). Also, enable the local network in iOS settings. 1 / 6 2. If customer would like to use new function of iOS14 or later, user has to apply the "Multicast Networking Entitlement" on Apple Developer's site. <Condition: A & B> A. Tablet OS: iOS/iPadOS version is 14.0 or later. B. Using "Deployment Info" on "project" "Target" is iOS 12.0 or later <Procedure> It needs 3 steps. See below. Step1: Apply "Multicast Networking Entitlement" 1.1. Apply on Apple Developer website Link: <https://developer.apple.com/contact/request/networking-multicast> 1.2. Edit the application information as shown below a. App Name e.g. Epson TM Print Assistant b. App Store URL e.g. https://apps.apple.com/jp/app/epson-tm-print c. App Category e.g. business d. How Do I Get Started with Aperture?
1 How Do I Get Started with Aperture? COPYRIGHTED MATERIAL 004_9781118274293-ch01.indd4_9781118274293-ch01.indd 2 99/18/12/18/12 112:002:00 PPMM 1 2345678910 Aperture is like iPhoto on steroids in some ways; but in other ways, it’s a com- pletely different beast. Unlike iPhoto, it’s designed to be an incredibly flexi- ble image, video, and audio file asset management tool that you can integrate into your existing workflow. However, this flexibility means that Aperture has more jargon, settings, and buttons than iPhoto. This chapter helps demystify Aperture’s jargon and shows you key fundamentals you need to know when using Aperture. Understanding Why Aperture Is a Key Part of Your Workflow . 4 Working with Aperture’s File Structure . 6 A Brief Tour of Aperture’s Interface . 13 Basic Customization Options . 26 004_9781118274293-ch01.indd4_9781118274293-ch01.indd 3 99/18/12/18/12 112:002:00 PPMM Aperture 3 Portable Genius Understanding Why Aperture Is a Key Part of Your Workflow Most photographers agree that the time you spend behind the lens shooting is the best part of being a photographer, and all the other stuff (processing an image, categorizing it, trying to sell it, or using it to promote business) is really just annoying. While digital photography enables you to be more creative as a photographer, from being able to see right away whether you got the shot to being able to experiment as much as you want with the only cost being hard drive space, the “other stuff” arguably gets more frustrating because now you have to manage digital files instead of physical film and learn to use multiple programs to develop and output your images. -

Using MBS Plugin with Filemaker Ios SDK
Using MBS Plugin with FileMaker iOS SDK As some new people play with FileMaker's iOS SDK and our MBS Plugin, here a few steps to give you an easier start: • Get iOSAppSDKPackage_16.0.1.tbz on the iOS App SDK webpage from FileMaker's community benefits. • Unpack the archive. • Open Terminal, cd to the folder of the app sdk. For me this command line: • cd /Users/cs/Desktop/iOSAppSDKPackage_16.0.1 • Run the makeprojdir command giving a folder name, the app name and the identifier: • ./makeprojdir test test de.monkeybreadsoftware.test • Of course you use your own names and bundle id. • Open test project in Xcode • In the target popup menu you can select a simulated device and when you run the app. The section for installed plugins will be empty. Congratulations, now the app should run in simulator! If you have trouble till here, maybe you review the iOS App SDK 16 Guide. • Now you can drag & drop the plugin into the plugins section in the Xcode project right in the Custom Application Resources folder. • Run the app again and it should show the plugin listed with version. Now you can use the plugin in your scripts for the solution and test in the simulator. If the plugin is not visible, please check logs and see if some error occurred. Please use MBS("Trace") command to write all plugin calls to the log in Xcode, so you spot errors easier. • Next you can change target to be your iPhone and run the app on the iPhone. This may need some code signing things and an Apple ID registered for developing. -
