The Chair: All right. Welcome, everybody. I’d like to call our Mr. Malkinson: Chair. meeting of the Select Special Ombudsman and Public Interest Commissioner Search Committee to order. My name is David The Chair: Mr. Malkinson. We have the motion, then, moving that Shepherd, of course, the MLA for Edmonton-Centre, chair of this the agenda for the meeting of the Select Special Ombudsman and committee. As per usual, I’d just like to ask that we introduce Public Interest Commissioner Search Committee be adopted as ourselves for the record before we get started with our agenda. To circulated. All those in favour? Any against? That motion is carried. my right. We also have our minutes for the last meeting. Of course, they’re going to be fairly brief as it was generally in camera, but are there Mr. Malkinson: , MLA for Calgary-Currie. any errors or omissions to note? If not, do we have a member that would move adoption of those minutes? Ms Woollard. Thank you. Mr. Gill: , MLA for Calgary-Greenway, substituting for Mike Ellis, Calgary-West. All those in favour? Any against? Then, that motion is carried. All right. Moving on, then, to our consideration of preliminary Mr. van Dijken: Glenn van Dijken, MLA for Barrhead- candidates, I think it would be appropriate at this time for the Morinville-Westlock. committee to move in camera to maintain the confidentiality of the process as we go on to this next stage of the selection process. Do Mrs. Pitt: , MLA, Airdrie. we have a member that would make the motion to go in camera? Mr. Kleinsteuber. All those in favour of going in camera? Any Ms Woollard: , MLA, Edmonton-Mill Creek. against? That motion is carried. The committee will move in Mrs. Littlewood: , Fort Saskatchewan- camera. Vegreville. Thank you to all of you for your time and your commitment today. I know we did go over our scheduled time. Ms Mills: Trish Mills, executive search. Do we have a motion to adjourn?
